[Resolut]Demarrage sur le dernier kernel

Bonjour
Quand je démarre mon PC, je ne n'ai que le kernel: 2,6,31,15 et 14 qui apparaisse (ainsi que memtest et xp)
je ne peut pas booter sur les derniers alors que les kernel 2.6.31.16; 17 et 19 sont dans /boot/grub/menu.lst
(mais pas le 2.6.31.18 hmm)
Malgré mes recherches sur les forums et la doc, je n'ai rien trouvé

Mais je suis novice sous ubuntu roll

peux-tu envoyer le retour de 

cat /boot/grub/menu.lst

Dans ton "Grub", il y a

## timeout sec

## hiddenmenu

hiddenmenu

Deux corrections à faire par

gksu gedit /boot/grub/menu.lst &

- ajoute un dièse au début de la ligne hiddenmenu, comme cela tu verras le grub pour choisir
- augmente le temps de démarrage après apparition du Grub: "timeout   20"

D'après le menu.lst, tu devrais démarrer en Ubuntu 9.10, kernel 2.6.31-19-generic. Reboote après avoir enregistré les corrections et explique ce qui se passe.

J'ai fait ce que tu m'a demandé mais au démarrage, je n'ai toujours que les kernel 2.6.31.14 et 15 yikes

Et oui j'ai Ubuntu 9.10 sur un Dell VOSTRO 1710

en dual boot avec xp pro (a cause de programme du boulot)

Ben oui c'est pas le fichier menu.lst qu'il faut regarder mais
/boot/grub/grub.cfg.

Dans un terminal, tapes 

sudo update-grub
