wifi sous dell 640m fonctionne pas encore
Bonjour,
Tout nouveau sur l'open source et n'y connaissant pratiquement rien.
C'est une révolution pour moi. Économique surtout. Je suis tout désorienté par rapport à Windows... dans lequel je ne suis qu'utilisateur bureautique.
Je dispose d'un Dell Inspiron 640m dont je ne parviens pas à faire fonctionner le wifi sous ubuntu. Rien vu sur les forums sur ce modèle.
Quelqu'un saurait-il me conseiller pour :
1) activer ma carte wifi sous ubuntu ? (ou alors être sûr qu'elle est en fonction)
2) me connecter à ma box et faire fonctionner "simplement" ce wifi ?
J'entends par "simplement" l'utilisation d'une interface avec des champs à remplir ou équivalent car je ne comprends rien au langage linux pour l'instant et les lignes de codes me paraissent du chinois.
Un grand merci d'avance à celui ou celle qui m'aidera.

depuis Dapper Drake ! Ça rajeunit pas ^^^).

essaye cette commande qui necesite d'etre relié a internet par un cable par exemple...
sudo apt-get install b43-fwcutterreboot et test si ca fait avancer la chose

Content pour toi que cela fonctionne. afin d'aider d'autre personne dans le même cas que le tiens : Peux tu préciser quelle est la méthode qui a fonctionné :
cela "sudo apt-get install b43-fwcutter" ou bien celle la "http://forum.ubuntu-fr.org/viewtopic.php?id=377104" ?
Peux tu aussi editer ton 1 er message pour rajouter "[Résolu]" au sujet de ton post.
