Problème au démarrage de Xubuntu 9.04
Bonjour,
Depuis quelques temps mon PC sous xubuntu 9.04 refuse de démarrer normalement, une fois sur deux lorsque je l'allume une fois le Grub passé, il ne se passe plus rien écran noir aucun signe d'un chargement quelconque, pas de souris à l'écran, les "touches magiques" ne fonctionne pas, je suis obligé d'appuyer sur reset à chaque fois...
Par contre si au moment du Grub je choisis le recovery mode, puis resume normal boot xubuntu démarre sans aucun problème ...
Quelqu'un a t-il une idée pour résoudre ce problème, j'ai fouillé un peu le forum sans trouver de réponse, si la réponse est évidente je m'excuse d'avance.

salut,
lorsque tu es au niveau du grub, n'as tu pas plusieurs kernels pour booter en mode graphique ? que donne ceci
cat /boot/grub/menu.lst

Oui j'ai bien plusieurs kernels présent au Grub, voici ce que me donne le terminal:

en bootant sur le 1er choix title Ubuntu 9.04, kernel 2.6.28-18-generic n'as tu pas de message d'erreur ? faire ESC (ECHAP) pour voir s'il affiche quelque chose
lorsque tu bootes sur title Ubuntu 9.04, kernel 2.6.28-17-generic ça ne marche pas ? c'est le 3 ème choix dans le menu du grub

Salut,
Désolé je n'ais plus eu de connexion internet pendant un certain temps,
Alors, non pas de message d'erreur visible lors du boot, j'ai essayé l'autre kernel sans succès. La nouveauté c'est que maintenant tout d'un coup sans prévenir alors que le Pc fonctionne, l'écran deviens noir et ne réagis plus du tout, donc je suis obligé de le redémarrer ...:(
Parfois en redémarrant la carte mère m'affiche un message m'indiquant le processeur (Celeron 2.40 GHz) la ram (512) le disque dur et les lecteurs cd-rom.
Et un message d'erreur que je ne comprend pas:
PRI Master Hard Disk: S.M.A.R.T Status Bad, Backup and Replace, press F4 to resume.
Le problème viendrais du disque dur?

Bonjour,
Je ne sais pas si tu as résolu ton problème mais moi oui.
J'avais systématiquement la même chose à chaque boot
Mode normal => écran noir
Mode rescue => boot => menu texte => choix démarrage normal => login en mode console => startx => ça marche !
Je suis sous xubuntu 9.10 et grub-pc. Après quelques recherches, j'ai modifié grub.cfg pas directement c'est un script autogénéré.
sudo mousepad /etc/default/grub
Commenter la ligne GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash"
Enregistrer
sudo update-grub
Et c'est tout. J'avais fait ça pour voir les log au boot mais je suppose que le problème venait du splash et de la résolution d'écran.
Voilà j'espère que ça pourra servir à quelqu'un.

Salut,
En effet j'ai le même problème que toi, comme je suis sous 9.04, apparemment c'est grub legacy, le fichier de configuration du grub se trouve si j'ai bien compris dans boot/grub/menu.lst
Je suis aller mettre mon nez la dedans et j'ais pas compris grand chose...
Dans les options par défauts, y'as apparemment déjà quietsplash
defoptions:quietsplash
