voici le message suivant que j'ai à l'écran :

Impossible d'initialiser les données sur les paquets

Un problème irrémédiable est survenu pendant l'initialisation des informations du paquet.

Veuillez signaler ce bogue du paquet « update-manager » en y joignant le message d'erreur suivant :

'E:Ligne 68 mal formée dans la liste des sources /etc/apt/sources.list (analyse de distribution), E:La liste des sources ne peut être lue.'

D'après le message, c'est sans doute juste un problème dans ton fichier de sources. Poste-voir son contenu ici ([g]gedit /etc/apt/sources.list[/b] puis copie-colle).

Je ne sais pas faire un "apt-get sources.list"

Que tu puisses pas faire apt-get sources.list, c'est normal, ça ne veut rien dire.
le fichier sources.list c'est la source des dépôts que tu utilises, ce n'est pas un logiciel à installer.

Il y a effectivement un problème à la ligne 68 (la dernière) : il manque une espace entre "archive.canonical.com/" et "lucid"

Édite le fichier en admin (sudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list), corrige en rajoutant l'espace devant "lucid" et sauvegarde.
Ensuite, tu devrais pouvoir lancer Synaptic, le gestionnaire de mises à jour ou ce que tu veux d'autre.

EDIT : euh, j'ai parlé trop vite et trop bêtement. En fait, c'est le souk dans ton sources.list : tu peux virer les lignes identiques à la fin (il devrait y en avoir une, pas cinq dont une malformée). Idem pour un paquet des CD-Roms au début. Je te corrige le fichier et je reposte dans quelques instants.

EDIT 2 : voilà, un fichier tout propre après avoir viré toutes les vieilles références qui traînaient (désactivées, certes, mais bon...). Attention à ne pas prendre le "code:" du début de la balise en faisant un copier-coller dans ton fichier sources.list actuel (remplace tout son contenu).

Merci infiniment car je me voyais mal avec tout à retélécharger.
Il reste donc encore ce problème de plugin pour Sun-Java mentionner dans un autre fil.
Si vous avez une idée.

J'ai copié et collé le fichier tout propre et cela fonctionne merci infiniment
