[RESOLU YOUHOU!] Experiences sur Nvidia 9500 GT et Lucid ?

Bonjour,

Je n'ai aucune accélération graphique avec ma 9500 GT en utilisant le driver "current" sous Lucid 32.

Je voudrai savoir si d'autres utilisateurs de cette carte ont les mêmes problèmes?

Salut lepuma.

J'ai une 9500GT qui est drivée par la version "current" sous Ubuntu Lucid Lynx 32bits.
Perso, mis à part l'affichage lors du démarrage, je n'ai rien remarqué d'anormal.
Qu'est ce que tu constates pour dire que tu n'as pas d'accélération graphique?

Pour l'écran de démarrage, j'ai suivi ce tuto qui est pas mal: http://forum.ubuntu-fr.org/viewtopic.php?id=391343&p=1
Ca remplace le logo et les points par une animation sympa et plus jolie...

Et bien la 3D ne fonctionne pas. Par exemple un jeu comme "Armagetron" ou un modeleur type "Blender", bref tout ce qui utilise la 3D
De plus la commande glxgear me renvoie ça

:~$ glxgears
Error: glXCreateContext failed

J'aimerai bien comprendre si il s'agit d'un problème de driver du coté Nvidia ou un problème du coté Ubuntu, et si il existe un truc pour régler ça. Là je suis un peu perdu. neutral

Et toi tu peux avoir de la 3D? est ce que tu peux poster ton fichier xorg.conf?

Oui, c'est étrange ton problème. Car chez moi, glxgears tourne rond... et le reste aussi.

Chez moi c'est pareil carte nvidia problème de résolution d'écran

Quand on écoute certains c'est de la faute des fabriquants  qui ne fournissent soit disant pas les pilotes pour leurs périphériques
Nvidia et Intel ont toujours été les chouchoux tandis que ATI avec d'autres étaient les méchants

Alors pourquoi maintenant c'est le contraire ?...

Ouais j'ai changé une ATI contre une NV pour un souci d'intégration "harmonieuse" avec Ubuntu... Je suis pas très jouasse là...

Moi j'ai une 7600GT (donc plus vieille à priori). Si je relance compiz, ça fonctionne à nouveau. T'as essayé un "reload window manager" dans Compiz Fusion Icon, ou un compiz --replace dans le terminal ? Juste que je voie si on a le même problème.
Parce que moi ça remarche, mais juste le temps de ma session. Si je redémarre la machine, j'ai le même souci.

J'utilise pas compiz en fait. Mais de toute façon le module glx ne se charge pas, donc même si je redémarre la couche compiz ça ne changera rien. Merci quand meme en tout cas smile

Merci infiniment, c'est bien ce que je pensait regarde :

ton fichier /var/log/Xorg.0.log :

Le chemin n'est pas le meme et le fichier n'est pas le même non plus. (dans ton cas c'est sans doute un lien vers le fichier libglx.so.195.36.15)

Je vais faire ça:

1) je change le nom de mon libglx.so en libglx.so.bak
2) je crée un lien libglx.so qui pointe vers  libglx.so.195.36.15
3) Je reboote et je croise les doigts.

Mais je ferai ça plus tard, parce que j'ai besoin de mon système sans surprises jusqu'a demain midi.

Mais en théorie ça devrai le faire.

En fait je vais faire un changement de l'adresse modulepath vu que sur le fichier de bowmore il y a :

Si je met : 

ModulePath            /usr/lib/xorg/extra-modules,/usr/lib/xorg/modules

je suppose que X va regarder d'abord dans /extra-modules et ENSUITE dans /modules. Enfin je crois...

Ok, ça marche! j'ai une accélération 3d, le module glx nvidia se charge bien AVANT. L'accélération graphique est donc opérationnelle.

En résumé, si vous n'avez pas d'accélération graphique sur une carte nvidia:

1) verifier le fichier /var/log/Xorg.0.log (fichier de log du serveur X) ; il faut regarder quel module glx est appelé (verifier le chemin d'acces au fichier libglx.so, et si cela genere une erreur du type "Failed to initialize the GLX module...".).
2) Si vous constatez que le Modulepath est réglé sur "/usr/lib/xorg/modules/extensions/libglx.so" vous avez sans doute le même problème que moi, c'est à dire un mauvais chemin d'accès aux fichiers de module. Sinon, bon courrage...
3) Il vous suffit donc d'éditer xorg.conf et de modifier le Modulepath comme décrit ci dessus.

Merci lepuma,
ça fait une semaine que je bataillais depuis le remplacement d''une ati par une geforce6200, qui se soldait par un "Failed to initialize the GLX module"
J'ai donc mis dans le path /usr/lib/xorg/extra-modules et la j'avais bien le chargement de glx, mais plus tout le reste, ce qui faisait déjà une avancée
Le path est donc devenu "/usr/lib/xorg/extra-modules,/usr/lib/xorg/modules"
Et la tout fonctionne.
Par contre je sais pas pourquoi tout n'est pas dans le même dossier (peut être des restants de ma carte ati)
