mis a jours et ajout de nouveaux dépôts impossible [RÉSOLU]

Bonjours ( je ne sais pas si je suis au bonne endroit pour poster ceci)

je suis tout nouvel utilisateur de Ubuntu. Ras le bol de window j'installe sur le conseil d'un ami Lucid lynx via un cd livré avec le magazine Linux.
installation facile premier démarrage le bonheur tout est pris en charge nickel deuxième démarrage la c'est les emmer..s

-premièrement les mises a jour déconnes j'ai un triangle rouge dans le coin supérieur droit de mon écran et quand j'essai de passer par le gestionnaire de mise a jour j'ai ce message:

Échec du téléchargement de tous les fichiers d'index
Le dépôt ne semble plus être disponible ou ne peut être contacté à cause de problèmes de réseau. S'il existe un fichier d'index plus ancien, il sera utilisé. Sinon, le dépôt sera ignoré. Vérifiez votre connexion réseau et corrigez l'adresse du dépôt dans les préférences.

-deuxièmement  pour éviter ce problème je passe sur "la source de logiciel" pour ajouter de nouveaux dépôts, j'ai les dépôts canonical  et je vais ajouter les dépôts ubuntu. je fais autre logiciel, ajouter, je tape la ligne APT donné sur ce site même , le bouton "ajouter une source de mise a jour" s'active, je clique dessus et ... rien même après redémarrage du système rien j'ai toujours mes 3  dépôts canonical de bases aucun des nouveaux depots que j'ai ajouté n'est enregistré et mes problèmes de mise à jour sont toujours la.

aidez moi avant que par désespoir je repasse a window Merci pour vos conseils

Salut,

tu peux ouvrir un terminal et taper ceci (une ligne tu valides)

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade
cat /etc/apt/sources.list
ls -R /etc/apt | grep .list

tu copies tout ce que t'a affiché le terminal et colles ici entre balise code stp (au début du code collé ici tu aura [c0de] et à la fin [/c0de], cf ma signature pour plus d'info)

Lorsqu'on saisit le mot de passe, rien n'apparait à l'écran et c'est normal.

@Scyanure: comme l'indique michel_04, le mot de passe pour sudo tu le tapes à l'aveugle et valides: c'est le fonctionnement normal wink

Je trouves que ton sources.list est un peu en bordel (tu as même du hardy...). Modifies-le avec 

gksudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list

et rectifies pour avoir (tu peux tout effacer et mettre ça à la place):

ouhaaa nickel il en avait des choses à me dire avant de je marque résolu peux tu m'expliquer ce qui c'est passé. pour apprendre il faut connaitre les sources d'un problèmes pas seulement la solution. en tout cas MERCI

compare le sources.list que j'ai donné et celui que tu avais, certaines lignes était malformée par exemple.
Sinon le update à mis à jour les dépôts indiqués dans le sources.list (équivalent du bouton "recharger" dans synaptic) et upgrade à mis à jour (équivalent du gestionnaire de mise à jour).
