Non c'est ça le souci. Je vais voir sur le net si ya des retours.
Apparemment le SAV materiel.net quand le PC est garantie par le constructeur faut l'envoyer au constructeur, donc pas de SAV de la part de materiel.net

Oui,  et c'est valable partout.

Comment ce genre de S.A.V marche? Un exemple: remplacement d'écran samsung.
1/ Tu appelle pour déclarer le problème.
2/ Le technicien marocain au bout du fil lit sa fiche pendant 15min ("vérifiez les branchements")
3/ Ça marche toujours pas: on te dit "votre nom et adresse, un livreur passera chercher votre écran et apportera un neuf", et le surlendemain, badaboum! Écran neuf.

Pour les ordinateurs, ce doit être plus long. Mais le truc à saisir c'est que les SAV constructeur sont généralement ultra-sérieux. Mais évite Acer: en plus de faire des machines réputées peu fiables, le SAV est lui aussi réputé bien foireux.

Enfin achète ou tu veux, mais sache que:
- En grande surface, tu n'aura pas beaucoup de choix, les machines sont généralement des machins "grand public" pas super, et bien plus cher que sur internet;
- Dans une boutique, si tu ne tombe pas sur un gérant particulièrement salopard, tu devrais n'avoir pas trop de problème niveau SAV et autres. Par contre, tu va banquer ton portable bien plus cher qu'ailleurs;
- Internet c'est bien. Mais ça fait peur à madame michu. Sache que ça fait une paire d'année que je n'achète mon matos que sur internet, et dans tout les cas de SAV (une bonne dizaine: cartes mères x3, écrans x2, clavier x1, souris x1, carte graphique x2, et ptet d'autres trucs que j'ai oublié) je n'ai eu qu'un problème (trois mois d'attente en SAV pour une carte graphique de marque point of view).
- A la fnac, il essayeront toujours de te refiler un mac ou un vaio. Et c'est super cher à la fnac. Pas aller à la fnac.
Mais c'est déjà mieux que auchan et consort.
- Éviter les trucs genre marques lidl (je pense très fortement à médion. Le record à battre d'un copain est deux mois d'utilisation du laptop avant foirage du disque dur. Visiblement problème de chauffe).

Après avoir été voir en magasin, j'ai remarqué le Eee PC 1001PX, qui ressemble étrangement au 1001HA.

Au niveau des différences : le wifi b/g dans le PX et b/g/n dans le HA. Est ce que ça change vraiment beaucoup le captage ?

Le processeur Atom N450 dans le PX, et N270 dans le HA. Le vendeur m'a dit que le N450 est plus rapide (pour une même fréquence) et surtout plus économe en énergie. D'après lui, le N450 dure "au moins 6h" avec une batterie 3 cellules, soit à peu près la même durée que le N270 avec une batterie 6 cellules. D'après vous, la différence d'autonomie est-elle si forte que ce qu'il dit ?

Juste le proc à 1.3Ghz, mais au pire... Ca gène pas des masses. Et puis au moins une autonomie annoncée de 12h c'est pas mal.

Il est downclocké (donc tu dois pouvoir booster un peu la fréquence), et ça reste un double core, donc niveau puissance, c'est suffisant pour pas mal de truc (tu dois pouvoir faire tourner cod4 en résolution native avec wine).
Et la 3D, c'est du nvidia: très bonne compatibilité linux (nvidia fait de très bon drivers linux).

Je sais pas du tout pour la double CG.
Mais comme le dit le post de monsieurweller nvidia passe bien sous linux.

D'après le blogeur le driver pour le switch entre les 2 cartes et bien avancé.
Donc peut être que ca peut le faire.
Après je ne sais pas comment le switch fonctionne.

Quitte à en désactiver une, autant regarder dans le bios pour désactiver le chip intel.
Mais j'ai vu passer sur launchpad une team qui propose des scripts pour switcher. Je cherche le lien.

So there are several solutions depending on the outcome you want.

    * Running only Intel
    * Running only Nvidia
    * Running “hotswitch” between Intel and Nvidia

Hybrid Graphics – Solution “Running only Intel”
So – this solution pretty much work out of the box. Since the Lucid install utilize the Intel card by default using the Intel drivers, this is the easiest solution. The only thing you need to do is pretty much install Ubuntu as you would on any other computer.

Running ‘glxgears’ would give you a result of 3 000-4 000 frames per 5.0 seconds.

So , this works if you dont want to run any heavy graphics. BUT, the Nvidia card is still enabled and draining battery! So how do we solve this? Some genius people over at ubuntuforums have posted a kernel-module to disable the nvidia card using the acpi switch. This code is based on a lenovo_acpi kernel-module.

The short version on how to disable the Nvidia card is:

    One of the Linux users has found a solution to switch off the nvidia card in the UL30Vt models, which by the looks of the DSDT tables, will also work for the UL50Vt and UL80Vt models with nvidia card.

    If you are using Linux on an Asus UL30Vt, or Asus UL50Vt or Asus UL80Vt, keep reading…

    For Ubuntu Karmic, download and install this package:

    Then once installed, run the following command on a terminal:

    sudo modprobe nvidia_g210m_acpi

    Explanation:

    This is how you get g210m to work on Ubuntu 9.10 / 10.04.

    1. Download and install nvidia drivers from the repos(nvidia-current).

    2. Make sure you got an Xorg.conf that is correct – run nvidia-xconfig.
    Run ‘lspci -v | grep VGA’ and you should get something like : 01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: nVidia Corporation GT218 [GeForce G210M] (rev a2)
    Make sure the xorg.conf contains the BusId “PCI:1:0:0″ (should correspond to the 01:00.0 – which becomes PCI:1:0:0)

    3. Reboot into bios (press delete while booting)

    4. Change the SATA option in the bios from enhanced to
    compatibility. ( yea, this makes sense? NOT! )

    5. Boot into linux and smile!

If you experience any problems, for example you forgot to set some params in the xorg.conf, you can boot using your Ubuntu USB or CD and mount your root partition and make the changes there.

Hybrid Graphics – Solution “Running hotswitch beteen Nvidia and Intel”
I haven’t tried this solution yet – but I would imagine you could use a combination of the solutions mentioned above. If anyone have tested this, please drop me a line and I’ll add it here. At least it would be possible with a reboot, but who wants that cheap old Windows-trick?!

C'est bien pour ça que j'ai préféré demander.

J'ai enfin trouvé un magasin avec le 1001ha hier (un darty aussi). Et je pense que je l'ai eu pour un prix imbattable : 250€ avec une batterie 6 cellules, moins 25€ de remboursement de windows, moins 12€ parceque c'est le modèle d'exposition. Donc au final je l'ai eu à moins de 215€.

Le seul soucis c'est que l'écran est brillant, alors que je croyais que sur ce modèle y'avait un écran mat. Mais pour ce prix là, je vais pas trop me plaindre.

Après faut voir si je peut l'installer/compiler sous d'autre distro, n'utilisant pas ubuntu en ce moment.
Mais ça doit être faisable.
