[Résolu] Bug graphique Hoary - Xorg sur Ati mobility 9700

Salut tlm

Je voulais savoir si des gens avaient le même problème que moi..

Donc voila je lance xorg au demarrage aucun problème...

(je precise j'ai le fglrx des depots ubuntu)

Et pis bon hop j'utilise pu mon laptop (xb7) pour un moment donc je baisse l'ecran pour qui s'eteigne.. je reviens une demi heure après

et wooowww des couleurs flashy retro smile  l'affichage a des bugs de couleurs sur le fond d'écran  et un peu partout...

Voilou, si qq1 connait le problème ou a le même .. histoire de fonder un groupe genre alcooliques anonymes mais plutôt ATIstes linuxiens anonymes...(quel humour..)

Hep bijour bijour,

Ayant una ati 9600 mobility sur un laptop medion, j'ai eut les meme problèmes (ou plutot je les ai encore!)

Je supose que que si tu switch vers une consolr (CTRL ALT F1) et que tu reviens à X (CTRL F7), tu as le meme problème!

Après quelques recherches , j'ai découvert que celà venait  de la coexistence entre les drivers fglrx et le framebuffer. J'ai essayeé de trouvé un fix mais j'ai rien trové pour le moment!

Tu as donc deux choix :
   -soit tu remets les bons vieux drivers radeon
   -soit tu enlève le framebuffer

Voilà si tu sais pas comment enlever le framebuffer dis le je t'expliquerai!

Et bien non chez moi le bug n'apparait pas en se mettant en console (ctrl + alt + n<7)
puis en revenant à x.. seulement quand je ferme le portable neutral

Essaie aussi d'installer les nouveaux drivers ati à la main! Ceux dans hoary sont quand meme vieux!
D'après ce que j'ai vu, y'a la correction de ce genre de bugs dans le changelog (pas sûr)

Bon alors après avoir effectué quelques petits tests :

Le bug n'apparait plus lorsque DRI est desactivé..mais il est toujours la même avec les nouveaux drivers sans DRI

nouveaux drivers que j'ai d'ailleurs desinstallé a cause des mauvaises perfs sous glxgears, sans doute une erreur de conf chez mais j'ai eu la flemme de me plonger dedans, donc reinstallation des drivers par les dépôts ubuntu..

Donc retour au point de départ...

Quand au framebuffer, je ne sais pas exactement comment m'y prendre pour le virer...pasque bon c'est quand même bien pratique le FB et je voudrais pas faire de bétise (pouvoir le remettre après koi)..

C pas le blem du suspend to disk ou suspend to ram ?
il y a une astuce a ce sujet sur le forum officel de ubuntu, il faut spécifier la swap dans un fichier de conf il me semble

mmm jai pas trouvé sur le forum officiel.. prtant me semblai aussi avoir vu un post la dessus mais bon j'ai pas retrouvé..

par contre un mec parlait du pb de la coexistence drivers ati / framebuffer..

en esperant que ati se bouge pour changer quelque chose a cela.. ainsi qu'au pbs avec xorg smile

Bon !!! J'ai résolu mon problème gràce au changement des script ACPI,

j'ai trouver un programme fort utile : radeontool qui permet d'eteindre l'ecran..

Donc j'ai modifier le script lid.sh en conséquences.. avec un ptit fichier lid qui faut dans acpi/events... et le tour est joué !

je pense donc que xscreensaver/ati y est pour quelque chose dans ce bug..

Bien sur, alors faut d'abord que tu ailles chopper radeontool qui va te permettre d'eteindre ton ecran... par contre il faut une carte radeon je pense...

Ensuite il suffit de modifier le script lid.sh, voici le mien : (pris sur un site, modifie le a ta guise car tu n'utilise peut etre pas hdparm et speedfreq...)

ce script est situé dans /etc/acpi/ normalement

Voila n'hesite pas a me demander si tu n'y arrive pas, je sais pas si cette solution est très efficace niveau batterie mais en tout cas cela supprime le bug !

Merci ca marche, j'ai supprimé hdparm et speedfreq .. j'ai bouquiné sur hdparm et je c pas si ca m'ai vraiment necessaire, sous windows je desactivais complement l'arret des disques.
ce script ne se declanche que lors de la fermeture/ouverture de l'ecran n'est ce pas ? il n'influe pas sur le reste de la config .. ? ecran de veille ... mise en veille du moniteur apres tant de minutes sur batterie etc... ?

Pourquoi je le voulais ? parce que toi apparement tu peux faire Ctrl+alt+F1 -> Ctrl+Alt+F7 sans problème. moi ca plante, vu que t'as une Mobility 9700 et moi 9600 ... je vais creuser ton xorg.conf lol wink

Le mystère reste entier, j'ai testé plusieurs configurations, j'ai même fini par copier/coller TON xorg.conf ... rien y fait, je me tappe toujours un super écran jaune qui fige le PC quand je reviens sur X via Ctrl+Alt+F7 ...
