Installation Munin sur Ubuntu 10.10

Bonjour à tous,
l'installation de Munin en suivant la documentation http://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/munin ne fonctionne pas sur Maverick:
- En entrant http://localhost/munin dans Firefox, la réponse est "Forbidden.
You don't have permission to access /munin/ on this server."
- Les fichiers de configuration /etc/apache2/conf.d/munin et /etc/munin/apache.conf sont paramétrés avec Allow from all pour le répertoire /var/cache/munin/www.
- En regardant l'arborescence, on voit que le répertoire /var/cache/munin/www/localdomain/localhost.localdomain/ qui devrait contenir, les données est vide:

J'utilise également Munin sur deux serveurs en Lucid qui fonctionnent. Qu'est-ce-qui a changé avec Maverick ?

Bon je ferais mieux de la fermer car je connais pas maverick mais...
Vérifie les permissions sur /var/cache/munin, /var/cache/munin/www/ etc - que l'user munin ait bien le droit d'écrire dedans. Je t'avoue je suis un peu perdu, je me souvenais pas que munin stockait quoi que ce soit dans var/cache...

Il y a deux problemes différents a mon avis:
* Munin n'a peut etre pas les permissions pour écrire dans ce répertoire
* L user web (probablement www-data) n'as pas les permissions pour lire dans ce répertoire (sinon tu verrais un repertoire vide, non un forbidden).

Vérifie aussi bien que le virtual host dans /etc/apache2/ pointe bien sur le bon répertoire.

cela ne s'arrange pas.J'ai réinstallé complètement et je n'accède toujours pas à l'interface localhost/munin.
Mon interprétation n'est pas la même que la tienne: l'indication "Forbidden. You don't have permission to access /munin/ on this server." correspond pour moi au fait que le répertoire /var/cache/munin/www/ ne contient pas de localdomain/local.domain, comme on le voit ici:

/var/cache/munin/www est en drwxr-xr-x 2 munin munin
Mon login fait évidemment partie du groupe munin.
Je n'ai pas compris la vérification du virtual host dans /etc/apache2/ .

Je me rappelle avoir déjà eu, avec une version précédente, ce genre de problème qui avait dû se régler tout seul après multiples réinstallations, mais ici ce n'est pas le cas. hmmm ...
je vois pas grand chose pour le moment ... si ce n'est que la partie client de munin (munin-node) n'a pas l'air tout a fait opérationnelle.
peut etre peux tu donner le fichier /etc/apache2/sites-enabled/000-default
et aussi /etc/munin/munin-node.conf

sinon as tu lu la page indiqué dans les logs : http://munin-monitoring.org/wiki/FAQ_no_graphs

j'ai pas le temps de regarder le fichier de conf mais l'erreur que tu obtiens c'est normal car la commende sh -x n'est pas lancer en mode sudo !!!
donc sois tu rajoute sudo :

sudo  munin-node-configure --shell | sudo sh -x

soit si ca marche toujours pas tu passe carrément en root :

sudo su

et tu tape la commande tel quel

qui a-t-il dans /var/run/munin/ :

quels sont les process qui tournent :

je suis un peu sceptique ... je ne comprend pas d'où vient le problème !
peut etre au niveau des plugins ... qui se trouve dans /etc/munin/plugins/
il faudrait alors essayer de lancer chaque plugins grâce à la commande :

munin-run [nom-du-plugin]

as tu eu le temps de tester les plugins ?
j'ai moi même fait une migration de version de munin cette semaine et j'ai eu quelques problème du même genre à cause de plugins qui ne fonctionnaient pas.

désolé, j'ai eu d'autres priorités ces jours-ci. Il faut que je m'y remette et je fais le point.
J'avais bien vu qu'avec Maverick, l'installation Munin ne tombe pas droit pour l'oeil. Mais le problème est de trouver l'astuce.
Par ailleurs, il faut que je trouve un peu de temps pour regarder SNMP et Cacti...

Bonsoir Elemmire,
je travaille sur un autre poste sous Maverick sur lequel, il y a un semblant de fonctionnement, les graduations apparaissent. Mais sur les graphes, il n'y aucun tracé à gauche, côté journée et un fonctionnement fugitif à droite côté semaine. Même si, la machine était coupée ces jours-ci et éteinte le soir, mais elle a été gardée allumée depuis hier 19h00 et il n'y a guère de tracé correspondant.

Pour moi ca veux dire qu'Apache est paramétré pour ne pas afficher le contenu des répartoires lorsqu'il n'y a pas de fichier index (index.html ou autre).

Eventuellement crées un fichier index.html avec juste "Coucou" dedans pour voir si c'est bien le problème ou regarde si tu as un fichier .htaccess dans ton répertoire.

Edit : Pour autoriser l'affichage du répertoire :
<Directory /var/www/repertoire>
Options +Indexes
</Directory>

le problème n'est pas là mais bien dans la récupération des données à grapher par munin.
Perso je penche pour un problème sur un plugin ... il faut donc tester l'ensemble des plugins avec la commande munin-run
ca permettra surement de détecter un problème dans les plugins qui bloque la récup des data !

Tous ces fichiers sont à l'heure du dernier restart. Mais, on ne les voit toujours pas sur les graphiques.

perso j'ai la meme réaction sur ma machine ... sur laquelle munin fonctionne très bien !

termine de tester l'ensemble des plugins activé et dis nous.
