SMCWUSB-N2 (driver ar9170usb) instable

Bonjour,

je viens d'acquérir une clé USB2 Wifi de marque SMC et de modele SMCWUSB-N2
C'est un matériel qui supporte les normes 802.11 b/g et n draft 2

premiere bonne surprise en la branchant, elle est reconnue et j'arrive a me connecter sans problème à ma freebox (v5)
cette clé wifi est sensée fonctionner jusqu'à 300Mb/s soit environ 35Mo/s ... donc je teste un transfert de fichier et la deception ... ca ne dépasse pas les 3Mo/s !!!

je regarde la config dans un terminal :

je remarque tout de suite le Bit rate à 1Mb/s ...
je force donc le Bit rate (qui étrangement ne veut pas monter au dessus de 54Mb/s):

je teste le transfert de fichier mais pas mieux: des pointes à 3,5Mo/s et ensuite le débit s'écroule puis remonte ...
au finale j'arrive pas à dépasser 1Mo/s en moyenne

bref je sais plus quoi faire ... si quelqu'un a des idées il est bien venu !!!

J'ai trouvé une piste interessante : le nouveau driver carl9170
A tester ...
si certains ont déjà testé je veux bien un avis sur la question !

Bon j'ai pas trop eu le temps de regarder comment installer le nouveau driver ... alors si une bonne âme passant par là peut m'aiguiller, ca me fera gagner pas mal de temps.
