Bonjour,

Voici mon probleme que j'essaie de résoudre depuis bientot 2 semaines :

Je veux installer les pilotes ati proprio .
J'ai suivi a la lettre ce tuto : http://forum.ubuntu-fr.org/viewtopic.php?id=2487
et l'installation se déroule sans probleme.

Mais lorsque je relance le serveur X, l'ecran devient noir et se met en veille.
De plus, quand je tapes "fglrxinfo" en tant qu'utilisateur, il me marque :
"Error : Unable to open display :0"

Voici ma config : radeon 9500 + kernel 2.6.15-k1 + Xorg 7

Comment résoudre ce probleme ?

Je ne suis pas un spécialiste mais  remplace dans la section device ati par fglrx...enregistre et reboot

j'ai reussi à les faire marcher c'est p***** de driver proprio (sur une 9200).

d'une, ca n'a pas fonctionné longtemps.
de deux j'ai pas vu de grandes différence avec les drivers libres. (xgl-compiz fonctionne avec les libres)

j'ai fait tout le forum ubuntu (et d'autres). que dalle. rien.
