Temps de démarrage avec PC ACER 7 ans P4 + ATI Radeon avec 512Mo
Bonjour,
10.04 fonctionne très très bien sur mon vieux increvable PC ( que de progrès depuis Dapper Drake 6.04 !!!)
A la sortie du Bios, le PC "réfléchit" 3 ou 4 minutes sans accès DD et ensuite le DD démarre avec une ouverture Express ?
Que devrais-je faire pour gagner ce temps "non justifié" ??

As-tu essayé de virer "quiet splash" au démarrage : http://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/installation/r … d_amorcage
C'est dans cette partie du lien :
Pour pouvoir voir le dernier message avant que votre chargement ne plante : supprimez l'argument « quiet » et « splash » de la ligne de commande, accessible par la touche « F6 ».

Merci du Conseil : c'est certainement le Pb car avec l'ancien grub j'utilisais un magnifique écran Splash..et j'ai utilisé l'alternate"CD"...
"Grub2" offre des "+" mais aussi une configuration + délicate..

J'ai essayé sur mon Portable ACER
La suppression de Quiet permet d'afficher le processus INIT complet et l'on voit que le processus de démarragese bloque sur un message du type :
init :ureadable .....processs................Terminated with Status 4... sans doute dans la Partition "/usr" qui pose Pb...
Après c'est bon avec un démarrage canon...

Ce que tu as relevé ne me permet pas de t'aider. Si tu faisais l'effort de recopier exactement ce qui est affiché, peut-être que ça pourrait aider quelqu'un à t'apporter de l'aide. Sinon, en fouillant dans les journaux système (Système > Administration > Visionneur de journaux système ), tu pourrais peut-être retrouver ce message, le copier et le poster ici.

Je n'ai pas trouvé les messages dans le Var/Log, mais je peux expliciter le mécanisme :
Examen + Montée de toutes les partitions /Ubuntu
Initialisation de tous les Processus avec le type de message ci-avant avec différents n
....et ensuite démarrage effectif de la Session....
Pour moi, le démarrage le plus 'rapide' : "Jaunty" en 'ext4'

Je pense avoir trouvé la Solution : Le système 10.04 examine en profondeur une carte PCMCIA/Flash de 4 Go avant la monter ce qui est très long ....
==>> Pourrais t'on éviter son Montage avant le Lancement de la Session ??

Si tu déconnectes cette carte PCMCIA/Flash, et que tu redémarres le PC, tu as pu constater que le temps de démarrage devenait beaucoup plus court ?

Oui la déconnexion de la carte résout le Pb à condition d'accepter avant l'ouverture de la session de 'skipper' la partition sdc/ FAT correspondante
Par contre, une fois ouvert, il ne semble plus possible de 'monter' cette partition (comme une clef USB par exemple) ==>> Pb de chargement de Driver à l'init ?

Réinstallation avec Natty 1104 qui 'skippe' au démarrage tout de suite la carte PCMIAA tout en la reconnaissant -->> Fonctionnement OK
Correction faite ultérieurement ?

Merci pour les bonnes nouvelles. La détection du matériel est complètement différente entre Ubuntu 10.04 qui utilise HAL (sauf au démarrage) et les versions suivantes de Ubuntu (10.10 et 11.04). Donc les progrès en détection du matériel sur Natty, on ne peut pas les copier-coller tout bêtement dans Lucid : ce sont deux mécanismes différents.

Merci mais mauvaise nouvelle cette fois-ci sur le Driver Wifi
J'utilise depuis des années ndiswrapper pour émuler ma carte ACER sans Pbs
Cela ne marche plus avec Natty : reconnaissance des Réseaux mais aucun débit...Pas de ping..
J'ai vérifié 'iptables Policies' = OK (Pas de Firewall)
-->> Vraisemblablement 1 Pb de compatibilité avec les réseaux cryptés...???
J'essaierai une reinstall ++ tard
--> Je retourne donc à 10.04 qui fonctionne très bien..
Une autre question : Les MàJ du Noyau 10.04 intègrent-elles les améliorations de Driver Graphique ATI des nouvelles Versions Ubuntu ???
