Changer la quantité de mémoire par défaut ATI Radeon 9600 pro
Salut !
J'ai un soucis, je crois, avec ma carte ATI Gigabyte Radeon 9600 pro (Kubuntu).
Je viens d'installer la nouvelle version de GoogleEarth et hélas, c'est comme la précédente : c'est superbe pendant deux minutes environ, fuide, rapide et tout et tout ... et tout à coup l'affichage se gèle et Kubuntu aussi 
. Aucun raccourci ne marche, pas moyen de tuer l'application, il ne reste plus que le bouton reset en façade ... sad
J'ai une ATI Radeon 9600 Pro avec 128 Mo de DDR avec les drivers ATI fglrx (c'est ce qui est détecté automatiquement) et cependant la quantité de mémoire affichée est 256 Mo alors que cette carte ne dispose que de 128 Mo (il est impossible de changer la valeur par défaut affichée à 256 Mo, la case étant grisée, donc non modifiable) : je pense que le problème vient de là (saturation de la mémoire au bout d'un certain temps, d'ailleurs cela arrive dès que je passe en 3D).
Cependant certains jeux en OpenGL, comme Planet Penguin Racer fonctionnent parfaitement bien sans faire planter l'ordi ...
Comment changer la quantité de mémoire détectée par le système ? Sous KDE, ça semble impossible, avec la console alors, mais quel fichier éditer ?!?
