[Résolu]fglrx chargé mais pas actif

Bonjour,
voici un problème abordé à plusieurs reprises. J'ai une carte ATI Radeon 9700 Pro
Ma commande fglrxinfo me renvoie :

fglrxinfo

et pourtant le module semble bien chargé :

J'ai d'abord installé les drivers proprio d'ATI, comme indiqué dans le wiki. Le problème était récurrent...j'ai donc tenté les derniers drivers ATI. Voici un extrait du XOrg.0.log

Il est indiqué dans les notes d'installation  d'ATI :

In order to use the fglrx internal AGP support, you have to make sure that the kernel agpgart support is not active, i.e. it is not compiled into the kernel and the kernel modules are not loaded. If the fglrx kernel module detects that the kernel agpgart support is active, it will automatically use that even if its internal AGP support is requested in order to avoid conflicts that can cause problems under some circumstances.

Est-ce que ca ne serait pas l'Internal AGP qui pose problème ? Si oui, comment peut-on le désactiver ?

Juste une chose, j'ai remarqué ceci à propos des modules :

... alors que tu as une ATI Radeon 9600 (et pas une nVidia ...) !

Et moi, j'ai ça :

J'ai le même stuut apparement sur mon acer TM803. (carte radeon 9000)

je comprend pas. J'ai fait la mise à jour depuis breezy ou j'utilisais le driver fglrx du site ATI (8.23.7), vers dapper. Plus d'accélération lors de la mise à jour. je désinstalle les paquets du driver, et j'installe "fglrx de synaptics" (8.25).

Pour info lsmod | grep fglrx (comme Aknotwot)

Je comprend pas ... j'avais déjà ça avant (Breezy) et ça marchait très bien... pas de nouveaux messages de ce coté donc. J'ai aussi cherché un peu, et même en changeant libGL.so.1.2 (comme expliquer sur http://wiki.cchtml.com/index.php/Ubuntu_Dapper_Installation_Guide) j'ai pas de meilleur résultat. j'ai aussi activé le omit xfree86-dga, et ça ne change pas grand chose.

je continue de retourner le web.

@bp : Dans ton "xorg.conf" tu as trois devices ("ATI Graphics Adapter n", n=1,2,3) configurés dont deux avec les drivers "radeon". Tu as ensuite deux "Screen" : le Screen0 qui utilise le premier device (fglrx), puis le Screen1 qui uilise le "ATI Graphics Adapter 3 device" (radeon).

J'ai comme l'impression que tu as la sortie du Screen1 (ce que suggère également la remarque de ffomnislash).
Essaie de changer "radeon" par "fglrx" dans cette section (n=3) pour voir... ou si tu veux garder toutes les options que tu as pour le premier device (n=1), de commenter la section Screen1.

Je ne suis pas du tout un spécialiste, mais c'est ce que j'aurais essayé pour moi.

Hello,

j'ai enlevé ces vieilles sections qui n'était pas activée (pas de Screen1 dans ServerLayout). ça ne change logiquement rien. Je n'utilise plus ma sortie vidéo depuis quelques mois déjà et n'en aurait plus besoin.

Pas encore de progression donc. Une autre suggestion ? Je reste près à répondre à toute question.

comme par exemple sur http://forum.ubuntu-fr.org/viewtopic.php?id=2487 au post #8, "no_dri" "no" est ce qu'il faut mettre... l'inverse ("no_dri" "yes") désactive l'accélération. De plus, ce xorg.conf marchait du temps de Breezy.

donc oui c'est normal je dirais.

@gidu : nvidia-agp correspond à mon chipset, un nforce...pas de lien avec ma carte graphique qui est une Radeon 9700 Pro.

tu es sur qu'elle est en PCI:2:0:1 ? que nous donne la commande lspci ?

regarde de ce coté peut-être.

Voici les résultats partiels de la commande lspci

Ma carte  est bien sur le 2:0:0, c'est donc normal (je pense) qu'il ne trouve rien en 2:0:1

Je suis finalement venu à bout du problème en appliquant ce tutorial :http://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/materiel/ati_propietaire
J'ai utilisé quelques commandes supplémentaires. Je me suis permis de le compléter.

Merci à tous pour vous etre penché sur ce problème.

pour info les perfs :
glxgears -printfps
18366 frames in 5.0 seconds = 3673.196 FPS
16478 frames in 5.0 seconds = 3292.059 FPS
631 frames in 5.0 seconds = 126.188 FPS
39293 frames in 5.0 seconds = 7855.975 FPS
50605 frames in 5.0 seconds = 10120.963 FPS
50711 frames in 5.3 seconds = 9510.617 FPS
48483 frames in 5.0 seconds = 9685.139 FPS

après l'install des drivers depuis le site ATI (8.27) pas mieux ...

j'ai finalement réinstallé une ubuntu dapper neuve ... ensuite j'ai du réalisé un changement de libGL.so.1.2 (comme expliquer sur http://wiki.cchtml.com/index.php/Ubuntu_Dapper_Installation_Guide). maintenant ça marche enfin ... ouf !
