Emerald sous Natty [résolu]

Bonsoir.
Je viens d'installer Natty pour amd64.
Afin de retrouver ma configuration précédente, j'ai installé emerald et mes thèmes préférés et suis repassé en session "Ubuntu classique". Malheureusement, il m'est impossible d'utiliser les thèmes emerald.
Quand je lance un emerald --replace, j'ai droit à une erreur de segmentation et les bordures de fenêtre disparaissent.
Auriez-vous une idée sur l'origine de ce problème ?

À croire qu'ils sont aveuglé et ne voient plus que leur Unity à la gomme.

Je crois que je vais passer à Debian en attendant.
Peut-être que je reviendrais si ce problème est réglé, je garde un oeil sur le bug report du ppa. Ubuntu a tout de même quelques avantages bien sympathiques.
J'aime pas trop Unity par contre. Je préfère Gnome classique sans les gnome-panels avec awn.

Toujours pas d'Emerald et ne voulant ni de Unity ni d'un Gnome3 instable
(car même s'il est stable sur les autre distrib, sous Ubuntu c'est loin d'être le cas)
je reste donc en Bureau classique c'est à dire gtk-windows-decorator et gnome-panel avec en plus Compiz.

Si vous avez une idée pour faire remarcher Emerald, je suis preneur.

Pour info, je m'en suis sorti sous Kde pour utiliser les thèmes emerald avec Kwin en installant le paquet Smaragd :

J'ai réussi à installer et utiliser emerald en suivant cette méthode: http://demonic.cc/?p=50

The solution to resolve the issue is as follows:

As root:

apt-get -y install libtool
apt-get -y install build-essential
apt-get -y install intltool
cd ~
git clone git://anongit.compiz.org/fusion/decorators/emerald
cd emerald
git checkout -b compiz++ origin/compiz++
./autogen.sh
make
make install
cd ~
rm -rf emerald

A noter: penser à désinstaller le package emerald avant via synaptic ou apt-get
Par ailleurs, au cours de la compilation j'ai d'abord eu des messages d'erreurs qui m'ont obligé à installer des paquets xx-dev, malheureusement je n'ai pas conservé la liste (désolé :-})
la plupart de ces paquets sont cités dans cet autre topic: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1702253&page=3

dont entre autres:
libwnck-3.0 ibdecoration pangocairo intltool

en suivant le code ci-dessus, ça m'a pris dix minutes pour que emerald fonctionne enfin...

nb: je suis sur Ubuntu 64bits

UP! J'ai testé ton truc, il compile, installe, mais ne fonctionne toujours pas (A moins qu'il faille passer par une autre méthode que "emerald --replace" dans les déco de fenêtres de compiz).
Une solution? Parce que sans Elegant, et sans Emerald, c'est pas que c'est vachement chaud de faire une jolie interface, mais légèrement presque. (Et Unity, non merci)

Salut...
Essaye de lancer /usr/local/bin/emerald dans un terminal.

donne-moi le résultat.

La ligne de déco dans Compiz est inchangé, pour moi: gtk-window-decorator --replace

par contre, j'ai rajouté une ligne emerald --replace dans les applcations au démarrage

ainsi qu'une ligne compiz --replace...

Et Unity, non merci... aussi!

Il me renvoie ça;

/usr/local/bin/emerald: Screen 0 on display ":0.0" already has a decoration manager; try using the --replace option to replace the current decoration manager.

J'essaie avec --replace? x)

J'vais tenter en mettant les deux lignes que tu dis dans le démarrage

Pour les intéressés, j'ai du installer, en plus de libtool et intltool:
libgtk2.0-dev
libwnck-dev
libxrender-dev
libpango1.0-dev
libcairo2-dev
libdecoration0-dev
Et mon colloc a aussi eu à installer:
libemeraldengine0-dev

Maintenant, arriver à changer le curseur! (Nondidjieu, il est coriace ce Natty!)

OK, je peux pas tester actuellement mais je passe en résolu.
Je vais tester un ptit xfce à côté de Gnome 3, voir si j'arrive à avoir un truc un peu comme avant, Gnome 3 est assez dépaysant.

Nickel, ça marche aussi pour moi (64 bits sur raid 1), je vais pouvoir garder mon environnement standard pour m'habituer petit à petit à unity :

sinon:

normalement gettext est inclus dedans...

Bon, c'est clair qu'il te manque "quelques" paquets.
A ce que j'ai cru comprendre, dans un premier temps essaie la ligne suivante:

apt-get install libgtk2.0-0 libgtk2.0-dev libxrender1 libxrender-dev libwnck-3-0 libdecoration0 libdecoration0-dev libpango1.0-dev

à l'issue de cette installation recommence l'opération à partir de:

question subsidiaire: quelle est ta version d'ubuntu?
