deux petits problèmes avec fglrx

Salut à tous!

J'utilisais les drivers par défaut pour ma radeon 9600, et la je viens d'installer le driver xorg-driver-fglrx, pour pouvoir utiliser des applications utilisant opengl.

Tout semble bien fonctionner.

$ glxgears -printfps
8687 frames in 5.0 seconds = 1737.205 FPS
8418 frames in 5.0 seconds = 1683.594 FPS
$ fgl_glxgears
Using GLX_SGIX_pbuffer
1677 frames in 5.0 seconds = 335.400 FPS
1838 frames in 5.0 seconds = 367.600 FPS

Et tuxracer tourne très bien (même si c'était déjà le cas avant).

J'ai cependant deux légers problèmes :

- gdm m'affiche l'écran de login en 2048x1536 (le max du max supporté par mon écran), bien qu'une fois logé il me remette dans ma résolution habituelle. Bon... pas bien grave, mais si par hasard quelqu'un voit...

- un peu plus gênant, la lecture d'un fichier vidéo (n'importe quel divx par exemple) en plein écran prend 90% du cpu, alors qu'avant ça prenait peut-être 5%

Si par hasard qqn a une idée, c'est volontier !

Salut,

Pour ton probl. de vidéo, dans la section "device" de ton xorg (celle avec l'identifier aticonfig-Device[0], t'as fait quoi pour avoir fglrx dans l'autre aussi ?? ), essaye de rajouter :

Option "VideoOverlay" "on"
Option "OpenGLOverlay" "off"

pour le fglrx c'était juste une petite erreur

Reste plus que mon problème de résolution dans gdm héhé...
