Probleme Dual Screen :

Bonsoir

Voail j ai une carte ati 9800 pro . Avec deux ecrans, les ecran marche bien on peu passer la sourie d un ecran à l autre mais le probleme c'est qu on ne peu pas passer de fenetre d un ecran a l autre .
Si vous avez une petite idées ca serais super sympa .

Normal tu a pas mis ce qu'il faut dans ton xorg.conf

bonjours merci pour ta reponce ,
J ai bien modifier mon Xorg mais ca n a rien changé . Je ne peu toujours pas passer de fenetre sur l autre écran .
En faite j ai 2 bureau ubuntu , je peu juste deplacer la souris d un a l autre .
Ce que je veu faire c'est comme windows etendre mon bureau sur l autre écran .
Mon ecran principale est en 1280*1024 et mon deuxieme en 1024*768 .

les options de TwinView sont pour les nvidia là il a une ati =_=

foxinet passe en resolution doublée: si tu as deux ecrans capable de 1280*1024 passe en 2560*1024 apres un aticonfig --initial double head ou un truc du genre (aticonfig --help pour voir les différente config possible)

il peut le faire aussi avc Xinerama mais ça devient obsolète (voir ne marche meme plus hmm) surtout que les derniers drivers ATI comme celui qu'il as permette une configuration direct du dual screen avc aticonfig

J'ai exactement le meme soucis avec une carte intel i915.
Le twinview c'est reservé aux cartes ATI non ?

euh je l'ai mis plus haut... c'est pour les Nvidia. Vous avez le droit de lire la doc sinon mad

et par pitié mettez vos xorg.conf entre balises code.

Aprés plussieur essay j ai toujours pas reussi a avoir la config que je veu .
Twinview je crois et pour les carte nvidia .
Et avec aticonfig ca ne donne rien peu etre que j ai oublier une manip ou autre .
Merci , si vous avez d autre proposition n essitez pas .

Salut,
Foxinet pourrais tu préciser comment tu as fais, quelles commandes de aticonfig as-tu utilisées ?
As-tu directement modifié ton fichier xorg.conf, car perso ta copie de ton .conf ne m'aide pas beaucoup.

Je m'explique, globalement j'ai 3 possibilités pour mon dual screen (TV) :

   1 / Une copie conforme du bureau de mon écran 1 ( après un simple dpkg-reconfigure Xserver-xorg, avec les drivers fglrx)

   2 / Avec l'option sudo aticonfig –initial=dual-head , j'obtiens deux bureaux distincts, ce qui fonctionne pas mal ( solution retenue pour le moment)

   3 / Avec l'option sudo aticonfig --dtop=horizontal --overlay-on=1, j'obtiens un grand bureau réparti sur les deux écrans, ce qui me plait bien, le souci étant la résolution d'écran, une seule pour les deux écrans.

Je souhaite donc juste comprendre comment n'avoir qu'un seul bureau, avec sur mon écran TV une simple extension de mon bureau ou je pourrais faire glisser les fenêtres souhaitées.
