Utilisation des bots avec Openarena [Résolu]

Bonjour à tous,


J'ai installé Openarena à partir de Synaptic, cela fonctionne bien en réseau, mais je n'ai pas trouvé comment le faire fonctionner en solo contre les bots. Je me promène dans des décors désespérément  vides !
En mode "single player, au début j'ai bien les figurines de 3 bots et ensuite je lance "fight", mais pas de bots dans le jeu !
En mode "multiplayers" , je crée un serveur local comme demandé, je choisi "Team deathmatch", ensuite les équipes bleu et rouge ou j'ajoute les bots, puis "fight", et... tout est vide ! Pas de bots.
J'ai Ubuntu Lucid.

Bonjour,
en pleine partie, appuye sur la touche echap (Esc) et ajoute des bots (Add Bots) et vois ce qui se passe.

Wido, je l'avais déjà fait et rien ne se passe, toujours seul ! Je n'ai rien trouvé sur Google et sur le forum à ce sujet. Je vais ré-installer, mais comme ce sont les mêmes fichiers, je doute du résultat.

Lance le jeu dans le terminal et colle le résultat sur le forum.

Ok je vais le faire, Mais j'ai vu qu'il y avait des messages lorsque j'ajoutais des bots :
Angelyss (ou autre nom) Botalsetupclient failed
et des fois :
Cannot kick host player

On va déplacer un dossier grâce à cette commande:

mv /home/jp/.openarena /home/jp/.openarena_backup

et tu relanceras le jeu pour voir.

En gros il y aurait un fichier corrompu dans le dossier home (/home/jp/.openarena) mais comme on l'a déplacé, je ne vois pas, mise à part dans le répertoire du jeu.

Tu n'as pas lancé le jeu en root? (utilisation du sudo)

J'ai suivi tes liens :
je n'avais pas lancé le jeu en "root" et j'utilisais bien l'automatic download dans les options, mais cela n'a pas aidé.

Par contre je ne savais pas qu'il y avait un patch.
J'ai donc téléchargé le "oa081.zip" sur le site officiel et l'ai installé : toujours pareil, pas de bots.
J'ai téléchargé et dézipé le patch "oa085.zip" dans le même répertoire selon le mode d'emploi et là, cela fonctionne très bien, les bots sont présents.
Et quoi que l'on en dise, lorsque l'on a pas internet, les bots, c'est mieux que rien wink

Avant de désinstaller les deb, je n'avais pas réussi à installer le patch avec l'installation de Synaptic, peut-être l'installation est-elle différente.

En tout cas, je te remercie beaucoup de ton aide qui m'a apportée la solution à mon problème.

quand tu installes un paquet en .deb ça s'installe dans les dossiers appartenant au propriétaire (root) (/usr/share, /usr/bin,... alors que si tu décompresses une archive dans ton home, le propriétaire des dossiers décompressés sera toi.
