carte pinacle PCTV 300i non reconnue par ubuntu - résolu -

sos
j'ai une carte pinacle PCTV 300i PAL Stereo DVB-T Capture Device
elle marche sous windows , je me suis mis à unix de puis peu
Ubuntu 6.06 LTS - Dapper Drake
j'ai mis kaffeine, mais l'icone DVB est inactive
dans gestionnaire de peripherique je ne vois aucune trace carte pinacle
je cherche mais ne trouve pas.....

Salut cathmaouche,
sur ton système ta carte doit être référencée comme quelque chose comme ça : 

« Multimedia controller: Philips Semiconductors SAA7133 Video Broadcast Decoder »

Tu peux vérifier avec la commande lspci.

Veux-tu coller ici (dans les balises Code) la sortie de la commande « dmesg », pour
vérifier si ta carte est correctement détectée et voir comment le module saa7134 la prend en charge ?

Il faut charger le module tnt pour ta carte:

sudo modprobe saa7134-dvb

Vérifie ensuite,avec « dmesg | tail » que l'interface tnt est bien créée ; tu peux le coller ici.

Question : la tv analogique fonctionne-t-elle correctement ?

j'ai fait sudo modprobe saa7134-dvb
mais il ne s'est pas passé grand chose

est ce que je dois charger le module "sudo modprobe saa7134-dvb" à chaque fois ?

Oui, il sera nécessaire de charger le module à chaque fois, mais une solution est de le mettre dans la liste des modules à démarrer systématiquement au démarrage.

Cela-dit, à la vue de ton dmesg, il y a un problème :

saa7134[0]: pinnacle 300i dvb setup
mt352_read_register: readreg error (reg=127, ret==-5)
saa7134[0]: frontend initialization failed

Que donne «ls /dev/dvb/* » ?

Bref c'est pas bon.

Je te conseille de compiler et installer la dernière version de v4l-dvb qui supporte certainement mieux ta carte.
Il existe aussi un patch concernant la pctv 300i écrit par Hartmut Hackmann.

La premier de montre comment récupérer les sources de v4l-dvb et les compiler puis installer. Le second pour des détails sur le suport de ta cartes.

PS : le logiciel mercurial, nécessaire pour récupérer les dernières sources, se trouve dans les dépots : « sudo apt-get install mercurial »

Salut cath,

Je crois que tu as récupéré les sources de la branche « développement », et non celles du projet stable.

Pour cela il te faut mercurial :

sudo apt-get install mercurial

puis pour la compilation des modules tu dois disposer sur ton système des outils de compilation et des entêtes du noyau :

sudo apt-get install build-essential linux-headers-$(uname -r)

Dès lors tu télécharges les sources de v4l-dvb dans ton répertoire personnel par exemple :

hg clone http://linuxtv.org/hg/v4l-dvb

Ensuite tu passes dans le dossier v4l-dvb, tu lances la compilation puis l'installation :

cd v4l-dvb
make
sudo make install

Ensuite il faut redémarrer l'ordi et voir comment se comporte le système avec ta carte.

mais le buit build-essential ne marche pas

Biensûr qu'il faut continuer.

En fait il s'agit ici de télécharger et d'installer à partir des dépôts des paquets logiciels nécessaires à la compilation.
Ces paquets sont normalement disponibles à tous donc dans ton cas c'est juste un p'tit problème qu'il faut régler.
Plus sur les dépôts : http://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/applications/apt/depots

buid-essential se trouve dans la section developpement des dépôts officiels donc soit tu n'as jamais mis à jour ton système soit il manque des dépôts officiels dans ton sources.list
Fais d'abord la mise à jour
.
pour cela :

sudo apt-get uptdate
sudo apt-get upgrade

On te demendera si tu veux installer les nouveaux paquets (il s'agit donc des dernières versions des paquets déjà installés sur ton système), je te conseille de répondre par l'affirmative.

Puis ensuite reprends : « sudo apt-get install build-essential linux-headers-$(uname -r) »

et dis si tu obtiens toujours la même erreur.

a priori, si ta carte est bien supportée, il va falloir paramétrer certains modules.

Donc, c'est quoi exactement le modéle de ta carte tv hybride.

ce serait bien aussi que tu lances cette discussion dans un nouveau sujet, ça sera certainement plus pratique.

Puisque kaffeïne de n'arrive pas semble-t-il à trouvé un signal probant de ta carte,
le mieux est peut-être de faire quelques tests pour vérifier si la carte dvb est bien gérée ou non.

Pour cela tu peux utiliser des outils du paquet dvb-utils qui se trouve dans les dépôts, pour scanner les cannaux tnt des transpondeurs de ta région.
D'ailleurs où se trouve ton emmetteur tnt ?

je ne sais pas où est où est mon émeteur tnt, je reçois la tnt avec un cable coaxial qui vient d'une antène parapluis qui sert à la tl analogique

Pour pouvoir lancer un scan il faut un fichier de configuration correspondant aux transpondeurs de ta région.
Pour cela il faut savoir dans quelle ville est située l'emmeteur des signaux télés que tu reçois ?
Si tu ne sais pas, précise la ville voisine de chez toi.

Il y 4 emmetteurs qui arrosent Cachan : Mantes Maudétour, Paris Nord Sannois, Paris Sud Villebon et Paris Tour Eiffel.

Si tu as installé dvb-utils, tu possèdes donc déja le fichier de données pour lancer un scan sur l'emetteur de la tour Eiffel.

Peux tu renvoyer ici la sortie de la commande :

scan usr/share/doc/dvb-utils/examples/scan/dvb-t/fr-Paris

Qui plus est, la commande que tu lances avec Mplayer est prévue pour la tv analogique et tu n'as pas préciser quel périphérique il doit utiliser.

Essaye avec :

mplayer  tv:// -tv norm=secam:input=0:driver=v4l2:device=/dev/video0/:channels="25-TF1,22-France_2,28-France_3,K06-Canal_Plus,30-Arte,33-M6,36-Mag" -vo xv

j'ai exactement le meme souci avec la meme carte et kaffeine...
Je suis sur La rochelle, j'ai lancé le scab a partir de dvb-utils en utilisant niort comme ville et voila ce que ca me donne :

a priori « scan » ne trouve pas le fichier « fr-Niort », vérifie que le chemin que tu as indiqué pour « scan » est bien correcte et que le fichier pour Niort s'y trouve bien placé.

Je viens de voir sur la toile qu'un nouvel émetteur tnt doit se mettre en fonctionnement à La_Rochelle-Mireuil avant le 15 octobre. Si je compte bien il devrait avoir commencé à émettre.
