Carte graphique donne résultats très moyens [résolu]
Bonjour à tous,
J'ai comme l'impression que ma résolution graphique est très médiocre...
J'ai une Nvidia un peu spéciale car modififée par medion. Windows la reconnait super bien avec les drivers généreaux de Nvidia.
Sous ubuntu, j'ai téléchargé les packets Nvidia et fait les modifs comme indiqués dans le tuto.
Néanmoins, le résultat est assez dégeu et j'ai l'impression de me retrouver devant un vieux windows 3.11
Comment faire ?
(j'essaie d'uploader un screenshot mais GProFTPD ne veut pas se lancer (me demande de l'excécuter en root et je sais pas comment faire)

que répondent les commandes 'glxinfo' et 'xdpyinfo'?
PS: utilise Proftpd sans le Gproftpd, c'est très simple; il est prêt à être utilisé dès l'install, en faisant 'sudo /etc/init.d/proftpd start'

(je n'arrive pas a copier le debut qui ne s'affiche pas ds le terminal)
dommage, c'est le début qui est intéressant (il donne la résolution utilisée).
celà dit, les deux screenshots ne montrent que des images tout à fait normales (ou alors c'est mes yeux ), donc je pencherais pour un problème de réglage de ton écran.
donne le contenu de /etc/X11/xorg.conf, et la marque et le type de ton écran.
ton driver semble être installé correctement (voir glxinfo)...
PS: quand tu cites des longs logs ou fichiers, utilise les balises [ code ] ou [ quote ], pour une question de lisibilité (et d'économie de scroll de souris ); et pense à modifier ton précédent message en conséquence...

C'était effectivement la résolution de l'écran qui posait prolème. J'ai du rajouter un 1400*900.
