Suis dans le même cas suis sous Ubuntu 10.04
Après le passage à 10.04, la cam a fonctionné. Suite aux mise à jour du noyau elle a cessé de fonctionner.

salut,

sous 8.04 : j'avais trouvé, en fait, que l'image renvoyée était trés sombre ! noir même ! mais apercevable...

j'ai migré vers la 10.04 (et oui, une LTS aussi) et un autre problème est apparu ! mon bouille à l'envers !

seule solution, pour l'instant : configurer dans VLC, le Vflip (horizontal ou vertical) qui remet la tête à l'endroit, pris en compte également dans cheese après la manip sous VLC

mais il doit bien exister une manip automatique pour ce soucis, non ?

puis ensuite pour les autres manip VLC : les réglages ne se conservent pas dès l'arret et le redemarrage pour ça et pour les autres réglages du style de trucs comme l'égaliseur et autres ...
