[Résolu] démarrage impossible lucid: "failed to spawn..."

bonjour à tous,

voici mon problème ce matin en allumant l'ordi (sony VGN NR21S) avec lucid 64 bits installé depuis plus d'un an sans problème!

j'ai à l'affichage;
init: failed to spawn hostname main process: unable to execute: input/output error
même phrase avec: to spawn plymouth
même phrase avec: to spawn hwclock
même phrase avec: to spawn main process
même phrase avec: to spawn mountall post-stop process

j'ai essayé les touches magiques mais j'obtiens après redémarrage le même message.

L'ordi est-il cuit?!

bon je fais un petit up?!
aurais-je mis un mauvais titre ou cela n'est jamais arrivé à personne?

merci de votre coup de main, mon ordi est inutilisable depuis ce matin. J'arrive néanmoins à partir sur un live cd de lucid en 64 bits, mais je ne sais pas à quoi cela pourrait me servir sad !
je n'arrive même pas à sauver mes données car les permissions ne me sont pas accordées avec le live cd sad
Devrai-je refaire une nouvelle install ou y a-t-il moyen de sauver les meubles?!

Déjà tu peux te dire que tes données ne sont pas perdues. Les permissions ça se règle smile

Regarde ce qui marche en démarrant en mode Recovery (2° option du Grub).

hello tamarou,

je n'ai pas la possibilité de démarrer avec le mode recovery (dans le sens où il ne me le propose pas).
Quand j'allume l'ordi, j'entends le disque dur qui rame un peu et puis il m'affiche les 5 lignes que j'ai décrit dans le premier post. Puis rien ne se passe, l'écran reste comme ça. Les touches magiques fonctionnent mais sans résultat au reboot.
Je suis en train de graver la distrib ubuntu sécurisée 10.04 64 bits. J'ai vu ce matin qu'elle contenait boot-repair pour rétablir le grub....mais je sais franchement pas si mon problème est dû au grub!!!
bref je patauge!!

Tu es en multiboot ou tu as seulement Lucid ?

Il y a très peu de documentation sur ce message d'erreur. D'après ce que je viens de lire ce serait un problème consécutif à une mauvaise mise à jour du noyau sur lequel tu démarres.
Tu pourrais peut-être tenter de lancer ta machine sur un noyau antérieur.

j'ai seulement lucid en 64 bits. je n'ai pas bidouillé les partitions à l'installation (un seul disque dur de 250 G)

Alors c'est normal que le menu grub ne s'affiche pas au démarrage. Il faut appuyer sur une touche qui était echap et qui maintenant doit être Maj. (shift)

En live-cd, tu as finalement réussi à sauvegarder tes données, ou bien ? Si tu as un problème à ce niveau, c'est cela qu'il faut régler en priorité, en demandant de l'aide si besoin avec le message d'erreur exact (et à l'avenir : configurer une sauvegarde quotidienne du répertoire perso sur support externe).

Bonjour

1) Pour pouvoir sauver tes données sur support externe, je pense que tu auras besoin de saisir dans un Terminal la commande suivante :

gksudo nautilus

Ca t'ouvrira l'explorateur de fichiers avec les droits nécessaires.

2) Au cas-ou, donne-nous le retour de BootInfoScript. (soit via ce tuto, soit via l'option de Boot-repair v3)

3) Pour info j'ai trouvé un sujet similaire sur le forum anglophone, mais la personne a resolu en reinstallant Ubuntu. C'est peut-etre le plus simple...

3) bon si je dois réinstaller, ben je m'y collerai!! mais est-ce que c'est possible de sauver certains fichiers de telle sorte que dans la nouvelle installation tous les programmes que j'avais installé se réinstallent tout seul en activant ces éventuels fichiers?

Bravo pour la sauvegarde de tes données, maintenant tu as le choix :
* ou tu attends un spécialiste pour interpréter le retour du script ( ce que j'en ai lu ne m'apprend rien de particulier pour la suite)
* ou alors tu refaits une installation d'Ubuntu.

Dans le second cas, tu peux conserver tes partitions actuelles et installer la même version sur la même partition en choisissant le même nom d'utilisateur et mot de passe qu'avant.
Dans les choix "avancés" tu choisiras de ne pas formater la partition. Tous les fichiers système seront écrasés mais tu conserveras ton /home; c'est à dire tes données et les préférences de tes logiciels.

Il existe aussi un moyen pour installer d'un coup tous tes logiciels, mais il faut chercher dans la doc et il faudrait certainement pouvoir utiliser ton Ubuntu en panne !

merci Tamarou, mais sincèrement si il y a moyen de corriger quelque chose pour que les affaires reprennent sans refaire l'installation, cela m'arrangerait. J'avoue ne pas être très à l'aise avec les partitions.

dans l'éventualité d'une réinstallation:
1) Que signifie conserver mes partitions actuelles: dois-je utiliser gparted avec le cd live pour voir comment est faite ma partition actuelle et la reproduire à l'identique quand j'installerai de nouveau lucid?
2) le tutoriel que tu me donnes ne dit pas si je peux faire tout cela à partir du live cd?

Et puis je me demande aussi ce qui a pu provoquer un tel brin! J'allume et éteins l'ordi sagement, et l'utilise "en bon père de famille"! Donc si quelqu'un trouve une erreur dans le bootinfoscript et trouve ce qui a provoqué tout ça, cela m'évitera de refaire la même boulette!

En attendant une réponse, j'ai essayé le live cd de "lucid sécurisée en 64 bits" pour utiliser boot-repair....et cela a fonctionné!! smile)))
tout a l'air de fonctionner normalement.

Je poste quand même le résultat d'un nouveau bootinfoscript APRES réparation avec boot-repair, on ne sait jamais, quelqu'un pourra-t-il voir la différence (j'ai vu que à la fin dans la partie nomée sda1: Location of files loaded by grub, il y a une différence dans les deux premières lignes du nouveau bootinscript par rapport au premier:
premier bootinfoscript:
