driver nVidia bien installé ? [résolu]

bonjour,

j'essaie d'installer le driver nVidia pour la carte 6200.

J'ai suivi les instructions pour installation en mode graphique, mais j'ai la forte impression qu'il n'est pas ou mal installé: dans la fenêtre NVIDIA X Server Settings je n'ai que 5 cases à cocher sous le titre nvidia-settings configuration.

Question:  comment vérifier quel est le driver installé et s'il est bien installé/configuré ?

Si c'est à yes, c'est que c'est bon, si c'est no, c'est que c'est pas bon wink

edit : la première commande est à taper dans un terminal...

Quand tu dis que tu as suivi les instructions, tu parles de quelles instructions ? Moi je les ai installé en téléchargeant le fichier direct chez NVidia (version 9626)

J'ai suivi les instructions de la documentation Ubuntu
http://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/materiel/nvidia

S'il existe une autre méthode, pourquoi pas.
Si tu peux m'indiquer la marche à suivre, je suis preneur.

j'ai oublié de joindre le fichier xorg.conf; on dirait qu'il manque une ligne : BusID        "PCI:1:0:0" dans la section "device".

ça y est , ça fonctionne, j' ai installé le driver en suivant l'autre méthode de la documentation doc.ubuntu-fr.org/materiel/nvidia.run.

bonjour,

N"oubliez pas de cocher la case "enregistrer la configuration actuelle” (Système > Clore la session) avant d"éteindre la machine !

Mais elle est où, la satanée case ?! big_smile
Pas moyen d'enregistrer la config, c'est dommage quand même, je ne trouve nulle part cette option.
Je continue de chercher...

au secours !

toujours pas trouvé.

installation driver nvidia, accélération 3D fonctionne.

redémarrage de l'ordinateur, plus de logo nVidia, plus d'accélération 3D.

comme indiqué plus haut, je ne trouve pas comment enregistrer la configuration

tourne en rond, tourne en rond..........

drivers installés, désinstallés, réinstallés...

essayé avec le script envy. idem.

rien à faire, l'accélération 3D fonctionne après l'installation, au démarrage suivant ne fonctionne plus.
(plus de logo au démarrage)
mon clavier est en qwerty ( pas les autres sessions) et pourtant coché français dans la configuration système/préférences/clavier


Que faire ?
Réinstaller Ubuntu ?
Je ne trouve pas de problème similaire ni sur le forum, ni dans la doc...suis très embêté.
Cà dirait à quelqu'un de jeter un coup d'oeil sur le/les(?) fichier(s) de configuration(s) ?
