Probléme affichage graphique matrox sous edgy
Bonjour voici 4 jours que je bidouille sous edgy en essayant de parvenir à un affichage correct sous edgy.
Ma config:
carte graphique matrox g200
ecran view sonic E651

Mon problème:
- au boot d'ubuntu j'ai un écran noir.Je n'ai pas le logo de démarrage ubuntu.
- puis jai l'interface graphique de connexion gdm
- ensuite gnome se lance MAIS avec une résolution 1024 X 728 et une frequence de 70 hz qui n'est pas convenable car ca fait mal au yeux (flicker).
- je vais dans systeme/preference/resolution et la lits box me propose 87 hz pour 1024X728.Je choisis donc 87 hz et je fais appliquer. Et là jai un écran noir qui me dit dpms standby.Et plus de gnome.
J'appuis sur touche espace et je reviens en resolution initiale 1024X768 70 hz.
Ma question: comment sélectionner une fréquence de 87 hz (puisqu'elle m'est proposée)?
Est ce un problème de carte matrox?
Je précise que mon écran accepte jusqu'à 120 hz

Résolution maxi (externe) 1920 x 1200 / 70 Hz

Même si ton écran supporte le 120hz, la carte graphique ne peut pas envoyer plus que du 70hz.

Mac Doul....Merci..je n'avais meme pas penser à la carte!!!!
MAis je vais jeter un cou d'oeil sous xp...pour voir la fréquence sous XP
