~$ aplay ~/up.wav
ALSA lib confmisc.c:670:(snd_func_card_driver) cannot find card '0'
ALSA lib conf.c:3479:(_snd_config_evaluate) function snd_func_card_driver returned error: Aucun périphérique de ce type
ALSA lib confmisc.c:391:(snd_func_concat) error evaluating strings
ALSA lib conf.c:3479:(_snd_config_evaluate) function snd_func_concat returned error: Aucun périphérique de ce type
ALSA lib confmisc.c:1070:(snd_func_refer) error evaluating name
ALSA lib conf.c:3479:(_snd_config_evaluate) function snd_func_refer returned error: Aucun périphérique de ce type
ALSA lib conf.c:3947:(snd_config_expand) Evaluate error: Aucun périphérique de ce type
ALSA lib pcm.c:2146:(snd_pcm_open_noupdate) Unknown PCM default

~$ lsmod | grep snd
snd_pcm_oss 57344 0
snd_mixer_oss 22784 1 snd_pcm_oss
snd_pcm 108168 1 snd_pcm_oss
snd_timer 31112 1 snd_pcm
snd 79016 4 snd_pcm_oss,snd_mixer_oss,snd_pcm,snd_timer
soundcore 14112 1 snd
snd_page_alloc 13200 1 snd_pcm

00:14.5 Multimedia audio controller: ATI Technologies Inc IXP SB400 AC'97 Audio Controller (rev 02)

« sudo modprobe snd-atiixp »
Puis fais quelques tests audio.

sudo modprobe snd-atiixp
Password:
WARNING: Error inserting snd_ac97_codec (/lib/modules/2.6.17-10-generic/kernel/sound/pci/ac97/snd-ac97-codec.ko): Unknown symbol in module, or unknown parameter (see dmesg)
FATAL: Error inserting snd_atiixp (/lib/modules/2.6.17-10-generic/kernel/sound/pci/snd-atiixp.ko): Unknown symbol in module, or unknown parameter (see dmesg)

On me dit d'aller voir le dmesg, donc voilà :

« md5sum /lib/modules/2.6.17-10-generic/kernel/sound/pci/ac97/snd-ac97-codec.ko »
« md5sum /lib/modules/2.6.17-10-generic/modules.symbols »

$ md5sum /lib/modules/2.6.17-10-generic/kernel/sound/pci/snd-atiixp.ko
b88350e4e202692d4dbc876a45043b9c  /lib/modules/2.6.17-10-generic/kernel/sound/pci/snd-atiixp.ko
$ md5sum /lib/modules/2.6.17-10-generic/kernel/sound/pci/ac97/snd-ac97-codec.ko
877e061608d046439a9eccdd1e9e2b93  /lib/modules/2.6.17-10-generic/kernel/sound/pci/ac97/snd-ac97-codec.ko
$ md5sum /lib/modules/2.6.17-10-generic/modules.symbols
1913c9e0e71fc1b6f02b54696c996102  /lib/modules/2.6.17-10-generic/modules.symbols

b88350e4e202692d4dbc876a45043b9c  /lib/modules/2.6.17-10-generic/kernel/sound/pci/snd-atiixp.ko
877e061608d046439a9eccdd1e9e2b93  /lib/modules/2.6.17-10-generic/kernel/sound/pci/ac97/snd-ac97-codec.ko
52aba6f0f9ce848033b90bcff7eddad0 /lib/modules/2.6.17-10-generic/modules.symbols

Essaye de réinstaller ton noyau : « apt-get install --reinstall linux-image-2.6.17-10-generic » puis reboote.
