@badjojo: Tu utilises des scripts de niveau 1, il ne faut pas s'attendre à des miracles.
Pour ce qui est de la consommation d'Ubuntu de manière générale, j'ai remarqué qu'un changement de kernel pouvait la faire varier du simple au double. Donc pas mal d'évolutions possible de ce côté là.
Pour ce qui est des améliorations du côté de bumblebee, il ne faut pas en attendre trop, en gros il y aura deux choses qui pourront améliorer la situation : les optimisations diverses et le support complet de l'ACPI (pas avant plusieurs mois).
Pour vérifier si la carte est bien désactivée, un coup d’œil au log de Bumblebee nous en apprendra plus.

J'aurais du m'en apercevoir, mais ton (tes ?) fichier(s) cardoff (et sûrement cardon) est (sont) faux.
Il manque un \ au début. Le bon appel est :

Effectivement c'est mieux, le taux de décharge tombe à environ 13W, et dans le log de bumblebee il n'y a plus d'erreur à l'extinction de la carte
optirun glxspheres se lance bien.

On a le même ordinateur et la même version de bumblebee, la seule différence est que je suis sous Natty et toi Oneiric…je vais peut-être essayer ironhide sous natty et si ce n'est pas concluant j'upgrade à Oneiric et je re-essaye bumblebee.

(pas de soucis hien, c'est juste qu'avec tous les efforts que tu fais sur ce post, je m'étonne que tu ne m'aie pas laissé un tout petit mot

Je possède donc une carte graphique GT540M 1Go DDR3 et un chipset intégré HD Graphics 3000
j`ai par ailleurs joué sur ouindaube© au même jeu il y a seulement quelques semaines avec options graphiques au quasi max là aussi comme lors de mes tentatives sur ubuntu, et avec un résultat sans commune mesure (90 FPS min), je n'ai donc pas (encore !) songé à un soucis de hardware
& pour la petite histoire, j'ai fait une tentative infructueuse d'install avec la version que proposait MrMEEE, et j'ai normalement tout purgé dans les rêgles
EDIT tiens, le trouve amusant de retrouver cbrunos ici, puisque je parcours par ailleurs le topic sur les claviers bépo, topic sur lequel il intervient également… et je tape moi même en bépo depuis aujourd'hui… un peu hard mais impressionnant de constater la réduction kilomêtrique que ça induit pour mes doigts !

Tu as bien fait de passer au bépo, c'est vraiment génial! Courage, dans peu de temps tu taperas très vite à nouveau.

Alors là c'est vraiment bizarre en effet…Même ordinateur, même version d'Ubuntu et de bumblebee, même scripts cardon et cardoff…aurais-je fait une erreur de manipulation?
EDIT: Pourrais-tu m'envoyer tes script cardon et cardoff stp (en hébergeant carrément le fichier entier), car j'ai déjà eu des soucis des fois en éditant certains fichiers avec certains éditeurs de texte. Peut-être que Kate fait des siennes.

j'utilise cette version du driver :
nvidia-current
280.13-0ubuntu1~natty~xup1& en aparté, continue a taper en bépo, ça va de mieux en mieux (& pourtant, j'ai 20 ans d'azerty, «j'y tape à plus de 50 mots minute» sur clavaro)
Faut juste se lancer & ne pas se voir comme un Geek, mais plutôt comme partisan de l'évolution … (en tout cas pour mon cas)

@nouvoflow: Ta carte est très récente, les drivers ne la supporte pas très bien pour l'instant, il faudrait voir ce que cela donne avec des drivers plus récent. Seulement, cela n'est possible que si tu utilises Natty 32 bit ou Oneiric.
@cbrunos: Je te fais ça de suite, je donne les liens dans le prochain post (je suis pas sur mon U43Jc là).
@Chapal: Et le cable HDMI, il est toujours branché ou pas ? Effectivement, c'est peut-être le problème car si la sortie HDMI utilise nouveau, impossible de le décharger.
D'ailleurs, peux-tu me dire ce que retourne :

Bein voilà c'était ça, la c'est bon. Je me demande si c'est pas parce que Kate était en mode vim, ça m'est déjà arrivé quand je code en python que le code s'exécute pas alors qu'il n'y a pas de fautes, ensuite je le copie-colle dans gvim et c'est bon…en tout cas merci infiniment!

Oui je pense que c'est ce que je vais faire. Je vais bientôt upgrader à Oneiric (dès que certains logiciels que j'utilise seront disponibles notamment le ppa conky hardcore) et je pense laisser tomber les applis KDE en faveur des applis Gnome qui ont fait pas mal de progrès avec Gnome 3. Y a juste Dolphin qui va me manquer, mais Marlin me fait de l'œil depuis un moment…
