apache lent

Bonjour à tous,

J'ai installé un serveur lamp sur ubuntu dapper drake (merci à la documentation disponible sur ce site).
J'ai créé un petit site. Quand j'accède à celui-ci en local, aucun problème par contre quand j'accède au site via internet, c'est anormalement lent.

Je suis sûr que ce n'est ni un problème de ressources ni un problème de bande passante.
(pc : dell latitude + de 2.0 ghz, 1gb de mémoire, upload 256 kbps)

En effet, j'ai un dual boot avec windows xp + easyphp 1.8 et lorsque je me connecte à mon site via internet sur easyphp, ça fonctionne très bien (+- 3  secondes pour 1 page de +- 110kb)

Par contre, lorsque je me connecte à mon site via internet sur ubuntu, pour la même page, il faut entre 30 et 40 secondes.

C'est au niveau des images que cela va très lentement.

Il n'y a pas d'erreur dans /var/log/apache2/error.log

J'ai cerné le problème en réinstallant et en testant à chaque étape.
tout va bien jusqu'au moment ou j'installe ssl selon la procédure ci-dessous.
a partir de ce moment apache devient lent aussi bien en http qu'en https.
je ne sais toujours pas quoi faire.

Sécuriser Apache avec ssl

Une des façons de sécuriser la transmission des données est d'utiliser des protocoles d'authentification et de chiffrement tels que SSL.

On active le mod SSL (il s'agit d'un utilitaire Debian qui créé des liens symboliques entre mods-available/mods-enabled et sites-available/sites-enabled):

sudo a2enmod ssl

On génére un certificat par la réponse à quelques question (Ceci génèrera 2 fichiers dans /etc/apache2/ssl : apache.pem et un fichier au nom aléatoire.) :

sudo apache2-ssl-certificate

On configure ssl :

sudo cp /etc/apache2/sites-available/default /etc/apache2/sites-available/ssl
sudo ln -s /etc/apache2/sites-available/ssl /etc/apache2/sites-enabled/ssl 

Éditez le fichier de configuration /etc/apache2/sites-enabled/ssl pour qu'il accepte les connections sur le port 443 :

(...les répertoires et autres configurations si désiré)

Éditez le fichier de configuration /etc/apache2/sites-available/default pour qu'il accepte les connections sur le port 80 :

Dans le fichier /etc/apache2/ports.conf, ajoutez :

Listen 443

et dans le milieu du fichier /etc/apache2/sites-available/ssl ajoutez :

SSLCertificateFile /etc/apache2/ssl/apache.pem

Puis redémarrez apache :

sudo /etc/init.d/apache2 restart

Active dans apache2.conf la section server-status (fin de fichier), et regarde via lynx ou un navigateur.

Tu verras un peu plus ce qui ce passe du coté d'apache.

Ca n'a aucun rapport, mais ou as-tu trouvé cette commande ?
Sous les systèmes à base de debian il faut plutôt utiliser sudo a2ensite ssl
(a2dissite pour desactiver)
