multi-head avec matrox g400 max
bonsoir,
j'ai toujours un prob pour faire fonctionner mes 2 ecrans LCD identiques de 17 pouces.
je suis rentré comme expliqué dans vim /etc/X11/xorg.conf et j'ai paramétré
la section monitor avec tous les paramètres de mes écrans
la section layout avec mes 2 écrans + option xinérama
les 2 sections screen
la section device avec mon busID "PCI:2:0:0"
je n'ai toujours qu'un écran,j'ai Installé Enlightenment avec synaptic
j'ai vu que dans /etc/X11/gdm/gdm.conf les lignes concernant xinerama étaient commentées
je les ais décommentées à tout hasard....bref je nage
la seule chose que je n'ai pas fait c'est d'installer un driver autre que celui fonctionnant
actuellement.
si quelqu'un a un topic concernant la Matrox ça m'arrangerait !
chez mon voisin sur un PC de meme puissance mais avec une carte graphique 3D PROPHET
a 90 euros il a les 2 écrans nickel sans rien faire....c'est a désespérer de mettre plus cher.

question:
finalement peut-on faire fonctionné le dual-head avec ma matrox et le server xorg ? ou bien
je dois installer xfree86 ?
