Beryl moins fluide qu'avant
Bonjour,
J'ai récemment réinstallé Ubuntu puis j'ai installé manuellement les drivers nVidia sur le kernel generic afin d'avoir la prise en charge du dual core et de l'accélération 3D.
Tout s'est passé pour le mieux, les 2 coeurs fonctionnent ainsi que l'accélération 3D.
J'ai alors décidé de réinstaller Beryl que j'avais avant et qui fonctionnait très très bien.
J'ai alors suivi le tuto sur le wiki qui apparemment a changé depuis la dernière fois et j'ai réinstallé Beryl sans gros problèmes.
Mais voila le hic, maintenant Beryl est bien moins fluide qu'avant, quand les fenêtres sont en mouvement ou pour chaque animation, même quand je tourne le cube, c'est tout saccadé !
Ca ne lague pas énormément mais comparé à la fluidité parfaite que j'avais avant, sur le même PC, ce manque de fluidité est très gênant. Aurais-je loupé quelque chose ?

tu as quel version de driver ?
et la commande beryl-manager en console te donne quoi ?

Bonsoir,
essaye de décocher "Synchronisatio avec le VBlank" et éventuellement "Détecter la fréquence de rafraichissement" dans les options générales.

Je viens d'avoir une mise à jour de beryl apparemment.
Mais ça n'a rien changé.
J'ai fais comme tu m'as dit Dhjiz et c'est vrai maintenant c'est beaucoup mieux !! Ca lag vraiment plus ou alors je m'en rend même plus compte !
C'est surtout en décochant Synchronisatio avec le VBlank que ça fait effet :]
Je ne sais pas pourquoi il fallait les décocher mais bon, ça fonctionne
