[Résolu]Mot de passe dans le Terminal
Je tape sudo gparted dans le Terminal et celui-ci me demande mon mot de passe .
Mais quand je tape mon mot de passe , le Terminal ne prends rien , bizarre !!!
Comment désactiver ses demandes de mot de passe qui m'encombrent ?

Le mot de passe ne s'affiche pas dans le terminal, c'est tout à fait normal, mais ta frappe est tout de même prise en compte.
Le demande de mot de passe pour les actions d'administration n'est pas un "encombrement", mais une sécurité
Pour passer un sujet en résolu : modifiez le premier message et ajoutez [Résolu] au titre.

Bonjour kinder,
pour info lorsque tu veux lancer une application utilisant une interface graphique, comme gparted dans ton cas,
il vaut mieux utiliser gksudo que sudo.
gksudo gpartedTu éviteras ainsi toute déconvenue.

xabilon , ok , je l'ai re-tapé et maintenant il me met ça sudo: gparted: command not found
ehmicky , je suis nouveau et n'est pas connaissance de toutes les réponses données sur ce forum , c'est donc pour cela que je pose des questions , alors merci à toi pour ta réponse
f.x0 , j'ai essayé gksudo gparted , mais rien ne se passe .

Je crois que gparted n'est pas installé, essies en terminal
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install gparted
gksudo gpartedNotes la différence entre sudo (qui lance une commande en terminal)
et gksudo (qui lance une application utilisant une interface graphique)

Gparted , je m'en servais quand j'utilisais Ubuntu en live CD et maintenant que j'ai installé Ubuntu , il faut que j'installe gparted ,
c'est bizarre !!!
Y a-t-il d'autres choses qui sont sur le live CD et qui disparaissent quand on fait l'installation ?

Non je crois que seul gparted n'est pas installé (c'est étrange).
Par contre j'ai vu que tu as un paquet installé qui est devenu inutile :

Pour faire un peu de ménage tapes en terminal
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get clean
sudo apt-get autoclean
sudo apt-get autoremoveEn tout cas je suis content pour toi que cela ait fonctionné kinder, bonne continuation sur Gnu/Linux
SI TU PENSES QUE TON PROBLÈME EST SOLUTIONNÉ, AJOUTES [RÉSOLU] DANS LE TITRE DE TON PREMIER POST, CELA POURRA AIDER D'AUTRES UBUNTEROS QUI ONT LE MÊME PROBLÈME QUE TOI.

Il ne s'agit pas de lire toutes les réponses (d'autant qu'une barre de recherche est là pour ça , laquelle t'aurait d'ailleurs fait tomber direct sur ta réponse, même si une simple recherche Google, "mot de passe invisible terminal", suffisait : premier lien), mais de lire l'un des deux seuls postes épinglé du forum.
