[résolu]problème installation ubuntu 11.10

Bonjour,
Je suis un fan des systèmes linux en général ... big_smile
J'étais encore il y a peu sous fedora 15 wink et j'ai voulu revenir à mes premiers amour avec le nouveau ubuntu.:cool:
Problème après le reboot de la machine je n'ai strictement rien curseur clignotant en haut de la fenêtre et c'est tout yikes
il va s'en dire que j'ai essayé toutes les options de démarrage complémentaire mais rien n'y fait serait ce un problème de grub ...
Pourriez vous m'orientez

+1 pour le test en live usb. Sinon quelle version as-tu installée ? La 11.10 ? En dualboot (tu parles de Fedora) ou toute seule ?

Merci de préciser également ta config. Une CG Nvidia par exemple tongue

Salut,
Alors en fait non je repasse de fedora à ubuntu en 11.10. Le test en live usb passe très bien pas de problème particulier...
la carte mère est une intel et est compatible linux et ubuntu la carte graphique une radéon hd4350 avec laquelle on a pas forcément de soucis...
Sinon je travaille toujours sur disque entier je posséde un pc avec 4 DD un sous seven l'autre sous linux et 2DD de sauvegardes.
Le grub est toujours sur la partition principal du système au début du disque et je me sers de mes options de démarrage pour booter sur un disque ou
un autre...
Ce qui me rend perplexe c'est que grub sous fedora passe très bien je suis un peu dubitatif

Attention : le dernier OS arrivé doit installer l'amorceur de Grub dans le MBR du disque dur dans lequel il est installé (voir Nota). Pour qu'on puisse vérifier ce point (et d'autres points très importants bien sûr), je te prie de répondre à cette demande : http://forum.ubuntu-fr.org/viewtopic.php?id=614071

Nota : c'est ce qui est fait par défaut quand on installe Ubuntu dans un PC et c'est ce qu'il y a de plus pertinent à faire dans le cas général (l'OS dernier arrivé gère le démarrage pour tous les OS). Toutefois, dans les installations multiples de plusieurs distributions Linux, on peut décider de procéder autrement, c'est à dire qu'on décide que ce n'est pas le dernier OS arrivé qui devra gérer le multi-boot ; on préfère au contraire qu'un OS plus anciennement installé continue à prendre en charge la gestion du multi-boot. Pour la raison que ce petit dernier arrivé, on ne sait pas si on va le garder : on va peut être le virer ce soir et on ne veut pas lui confier cette responsabilité de gérer le multi-boot. Seulement, là il faut bien s'y connaître en gestion du démarrage. Et on a vite fait de se prendre les pieds dans le tapis, comme ça m'arrive souvent.

Concernant grub je comprends qu'il doit être installer sur la partitions du dernier os installé mais à défaut sous ubuntu lors de l'installation sur un disque entier il s'installe bien sur le mbr du disque Non ? ou es ce que comme toi je me prends les pieds dans le tapis persant de magrand mère big_smile

Tu comprends cela à la lecture de mon post ? Ben non, je voulais exprimer le contraire : je voulais dire que l'amorceur de Grub doit être installé dans le MBR du disque dur (et pas dans la partition) du dernier OS installé. En voulant nuancer le propos (et indiquer qu'il y a des cas où volontairement on peut choisir de faire autrement), je t'ai fait comprendre le contraire. Désolé.

Désoler pour le précédent post très peu lisible, bon j'ai solutionné le problème en faisant une bonne vieille install à la main
pourquoi es ce que ca plantait en automatique alors là aucune idée...
