WinXP redémarre tout seul après install Ubuntu et Grub

Salut !

Après avoir installé Edgy sur mon portable , selon la méthode suivante http://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/windows/mbr_1_disque_dur (j'en remercie par ailleurs les rédacteurs), afin de pouvoir avoir Ubuntu et WinXP en dualboot

Et avec les partitions suivantes :

Disque /dev/hda: 60.0 Go, 60011642880 octets
255 têtes, 63 secteurs/piste, 7296 cylindres
Unités = cylindres de 16065 * 512 = 8225280 octets

Périphérique Amorce    Début         Fin      Blocs    Id  Système

Et bien après avoir installé Grub sur hda3 (soit hd0,2), au reboot de fin d'installation d'Ubuntu, je vois un logo Windows mais pas de Grub en vue ....
A l'aide du Live CD, je checke si le Grub est bien installé :

grub> find /boot/grub/stage1
(hd0,2)

Comment faire pour avoir Grub au démarrage et pouvoir lancer Linux ?

@fde, il n'a pas reinstallé windows apres ubuntu il me semble non?
@schiling, donne le contenu du fichier /boot/grub
qui devrait nous donner de precieuses indications
gksudo gedit /boot/grub/menu.lst
ou si t'es sous kde
kdesu kate /boot/grub/menu.lst

Non, mais il me semblait qu'une restauration de grub par dessus était une option à essayer...

Yep !

FDE, merci pour l'indice, ca m'a permis de voir l'écran de connexion a ubuntu, malheureusement je crois avoir rentré un peu vite mes identifiants puisqu'ils ne fonctionnent pas ... hmm

Beug, j'ai lancé Ubuntu Live CD et la commande pour gnome et voila le résultat,

ubuntu@ubuntu:~$ gksudo gedit /boot/grub/menu.lst

(gedit:6612): GnomeUI-WARNING **: While connecting to session manager:
Authentication Rejected, reason : None of the authentication protocols specified are supported and host-based authentication failed.

Ensuite un éditeur de texte s'ouvre sur un fichier vide.

alors là oui, ca semble demontrer que tu n'as plus grub, dans ce cas, le tuto proposé par fde peut s'averer tres utile....
regrade aussi dans cette mine d'or, tu devrais y trouver ton bonheur

mieux encore si t'as la chance de voir l'auteur de ces tuto passer par là, oups, ça ne devrait pas trainer....

Après réinstallation, cette fois en oem pour ne pas paumer mes identifiants roll,
Sur les conseils de fde, j'ai pu démarrer le multiboot a partir de supergrub.

Et voila le menu.lst : big_smile

Hum ...

Bien joli tout ce petit message plus haut, mais j'ai oublié les questions.

Qu'est ce qui cloche dans cette config de grub car WinXP se lance toujours sans que Grub n'apparaisse ?

Comment puis-je y remédier ?

arf a tous les coup y'a un cmilblik avec le mbr, ça me parrait bizzare que l'amorce soit sur le /dev/hda3, moi j'aurai plus vu ça sur hda1
mais là, ça me depasse un peu
y'a pas cep dans le coin là?

Hey Beug,

En fait je l'ai posé sur le hda3 qui est la partition d'install de Linux pour ne pas avoir a détruire des informations (peut-etre importantes)
En l'occurence ici hda1 est la partition cachée permettant la restauration du système.
Ce PC était livré avec Windows déjà installé, comme je n'ai que des CDs de restauration, je voulais quand meme garder ces partitions pour ne pas perdre WinXP, au cas où ...
