kernel-headers

Bonjour à tous,

j'ai mis à jour mon ubuntu 6.06 vers 6.10 via internet. Tout fonctionne bien sauf VMWare qui me réclame le kernel-headers 2.6.17-10-386, mais dans le gestionnaire de paquets synaptyc je ne vois que le 2.4.27-2. j'ai supposé qu'il me maquait des dépots. J'ai complété ma source.list ( a l'aide de la documentation ) mais rien n'y fait. Quelqu'un aurait-il une idée ?

Salut!

Recherche (dans Synaptic) les paquets commençant par "linux-headers", tu devrais trouver ton bonheur.

Bonjour,

Je ne pense pas que cela soit un probléme de dépots, mais plutôt un probléme de noms.

En effet, il semblerait que pour les noyaux 2.4.* le nom kernel-headers-2.4.* était utilisé. Mais pour les noyaux plus récent, les headers du noyau sont telechargeable via le paquet linux-header-2.6.*.

Dans ton cas il me semble que tu recherche le paquet linux-headers-2.6.17-10.
J'ai installé vmware et c'est ce que j'ai du installer.

Tu peux aussi installer le paquet linux-headers qui t'installeras toujours les sources de la version du noyau que tu utilises.
