[Résolu]Un coup de main pour mon xorg.conf svp
Bonsoir,
j' ai besoin d' un connaisseur pour mettre mes écrans en twin view , mais je ne sait pas quelles modifications je doit rentrer dans mon xorgg.conf.
Je voudrais savoir aussi si avec beryl le dual head en twin view peut marcher .

j'ai le même probleme apparemment.... comment peut-on garder la config ?
as-tu l'opportunité de faire les changements via le tool panel NVIDIA?
Moi ca fonctionne hyper bien mais juste pour la session active, au reboot... tout est a recommencer.
Mon xorg.conf ne se sauve pas,... meme en indiquant de le sauver via le panel suivant
Tres dommage, puis j'ai bidouiller avec les option "twinmode" mais le resultat a été de demarrer en version terminal....
J'espere que d'autre pourront te (ou nous) repondre plus precisemment.

Il parait qu' en mode root (c' est à dire en ouvrant le nvidia setting avec la console) cela sauvegarde les réglages mais pas chez moi en tout cas.
C' est bien le xorg.conf qu' il faut modifier manuellement pour que les changements prennent pleinement effets définitivement.

oui c'est enervant, tu configure tout, c'est merveilleux,... et au reboot, rebelotte... c'est bien le /etc/X11/xorg.con a configurer (!!! fais un backup si tu y chipotte !!)
Je suis en train de refaire encore un essai en me concentrant sur ce petit guide explicatif

.... je vais voir le resultat, mais je pense qu'on se rapproche d'un bon resultat.
(j'ai pratiquement le même xorg que le tiens, je te tiens informé si ca fonctionne)

Bonjour a vous.
Apperement vous utiliser l'outils NVIDIA pour creer votre xorg.conf seulement il n'a pas les droit necessaire pour ecraser votre fichier xorg.conf alors je vous suggere:
1. de sauvegarder le fichier creer avec l'outil NVIDIA dans votre repertoire perso sous un nom quelconque (xorgdual.conf par exemple)
2. vous faite alors un "sudo cp xorgdual.conf /etc/X11/xorg.conf"
3.il ne reste plus qu'a redemarre le serveur X avec "Ctrl+Alt+Back"
Et voila le tour est jouer.

Sensimila, merci pour la réponse mais de mon côté j'ai déja essayer de cette manière,... mais l'outil NVIDIA n'est pas cohérent (si je copie le contenu du preview, chez moi seulement 1 seul écran est configuré) et omet bcp d'autres parametres existant (Keyboard,...) donc au reboot l'effet est en terminal.
Est il possible que pour la section active les parmètres sont sauvés à un autre emplacement ? où donc alors ?
Bon je vais encore un peu bucher la dessus ce soir.....

finalement j'ai mixé un peu des 2, donc je suis parvenu a un resultat qui me plait maintenant (encore quelques trucs a paufiner).
J'ai combiné le preview du Tool NVIDIA comme suggéré par Sunsimilia et mon fichier original, les résolutions sont bonnes,... juste maintenant un tableau de bord à rajouter sur le second écran pour faire joli et pratique.
Voici mon fichier si tu veux te baser dessus, mais tu devras aussi interpréter ou combiner avec le tiens (moi j'ai 2 écrans plats dont 1 est CRT et l'autre est DFP (je ne sais même pas ce que c'est DFP)) je vois que toi tu as 2 CRT.... donc il faudra adapter (p-être, sans doute et certainement :rolleyes - )).
Pour le dualhead, désolé je ne sais pas (encore) ce que c'est..

bon je vous file mon xorg.conf en dual avec un crt et ma télé , moi j'ai fait trois scipts et trois xorg différents, un xorgcrt xorgtv xorgduo comme ça j'ai mis un tiroir et rajouter mes trois script qui ne font ni plus ni moins que copier l'un de mes xorg à la place du xorg.conf initial et de killer xorg avec un killall xorg et voilà ça fais un peu comme sous windobe .
mon xorg.conf(celui en duo , a adapter suivant votre écran ) au fait ça ne clone pas l'écran mais creer deux session graphiques à la places comme ça vous pouvez surfer sur l'un et regarder la tnt sur l'autre bien pratique.

gksu cp /home/../.../changecran/xorgduo.conf /etc/X11/xorg.conf
gksu killall Xorg
a adapter suivant votre répertoire hein(les point de suspensions) le rendre executable avec un sudo chmod a+x duo.sh
et voilà .
un petit screenshot pour la route.
on vois en bas à gauche le tiroir ouvert avec un ecran crt une tv et les deux.

J' ai fait quelques modifications dans mon xorg.conf
Mais nVidia setting me dit que je suis toujours en " Seperate X screen " 
j' en suis content ok mais je voudrais pouvoir essayer le " TwinView "

J' ai beau cliquer pour activer xinérama mais il rest toujour décoché au redémarrage.

Bon depuis la mise a jour du kernel je suis en galere totale meme mon claviers est passe en qwerty
je veut reconfiguer mon xorg.conf pour le remettre en dual desktop .

Résolu en installant les drivers avec les dépots : nvidia glx
Et puis j' ai remis mon ancien xorg.conf (le premier là haut) .
