Beryl ne fonctionne pas...

Bonsoir,
Je précise que je suis une noob, je n'ai ubuntu que depuis deux jours (installation via mini.iso, donc il me manque peut-être certains paquets? J'ai dû installer l'interface d'ubuntu à la main.).
Je suis sous Feisty, ma carte est une Sapphire Radeon X800 GTO.
J'ai suivi ce tutorial : http://silent-strength.com/?carnet/billet/150-Beryl-et-X1600-avec-Ubuntu-Feisty au début (installation drivers propriétaires), puis celui d'ubuntu pour installer xgl et beryl (la commande pour installer beryl dans le premier tutorial ne marchant pas).
Sous gnome, la commande glxinfo | grep render me donne :
direct rendering: Yes
    GLX_ATI_pixel_format_float, GLX_ATI_render_texture
OpenGL renderer string: RADEON X800 GTO

Et sous une session XGL cela donne :
Xlib:  extension "XFree86-DRI" missing on display ":1.0".
direct rendering: No

D'après ce que j'ai lu sur le forum, c'est normal.

Sous XGL, lorsque je fais un clic droit sur l'emeraude et que je sélectionne beryl, rien ne se passe, aucun effet. Si je tape beryl dans le terminal, je n'ai plus de barres de titres et de tableaux de bords.
J'ai entré beryl dans les programmes au démarrage mais quand j'utilise la commande beryl-manager, j'obtiens le message d'erreur suivant ; ** (beryl-manager:27602): CRITICAL ***: impossibe d'exécuter beryl-xgl: Succès.

Voici le contenu de mon fichier xorg.conf (parfois quand le fichier s'affiche j'ai droit à un message d'erreur : xauth:  creating new authority file /home/charlotte/.serverauth.8750

edit : Je viens de me rendre compte qu'ubuntu me détecte trois fois une tablette graphique alors que je n'en ai pas... ce fichier ne m'a pas l'air très propre.
