Ou puis je trouver des nouveaux depots Ubuntu pour mettre mon systeme a jour car le seul que j'ai est celui du CD d'installation.

tu devrais commencer par supprimer les # devant les lignes de dépots, en passant par la commance :

sudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list

tu modifies donc le fichier ouvert, puis tu enregistre.
ensuite,

sudo apt-get update

puis

sudo apt-get upgrade

et ça devrait le faire...

me donne cela :

idem avec le commande suivante : root@aptiva:/home/pimousse # sudo apt-get upgrade

tu dois juste décommenter les dépots... pas toutes les lignes.
Juste celles qui commencent par deb-src...
et ensuite les commandes susdites...

Finalement je suis tombe sur Easy Ubuntu 2.1 la mise a jour a ete automatique mais je vous remercie de votre aide

houla le mien (cf plus haut) fou la m****.
le synaptic ne fonctionne plus correctement, il m'accueil avec :
" W: Impossible de localiser la liste des paquets sources http://archive.ubuntu.com hoary-backports/universe Packages (/var/lib/apt/lists/archive.ubuntu.com_ubuntu_dists_hoary-backports_universe_binary-i386_Packages) - stat (2 Aucun fichier ou répertoire de ce type)
W: Impossible de localiser la liste des paq..................................." y'en a encore une floppée.
est ce que je peux le remplacer par celui de jean ?
