[Résolu]Installation de ces foutus drivers nvidia

Bonjour,

Depuis les dernière mises a jour bizarre du noyau, je ne peux booter ni en 2.6.20-14, ni en -15. Qu'a cela ne tienne j'ai toujours mon -13 en attendant et qui marche nickel.

Problème:
Je ne peux utiliser le nvidia-glx car les restricted-modules ne sont plus dispos pour le -13.
Bon ben installation du .run comme je l'ai toujours fait auparavant, mais impossible de démarrer le serveur X....

Si je repasse en nv, ça marche nickel

Ouais, arrêter de te servir du .run

Dans les dépôts il y a nvidia-glx-new et nvidia-glx pour les anciennes cartes.


Quand tu ne sais pas (cherche puis) demande, quand tu sais partage.

oui G-Rom a raison. Tu devrais plutot installer les paquets nvidia-glx (9631) ou nvidia-glx-new (9755 si ta cart est supportée)
J'ai une vieille Geforce 4 mx et ca marche tres bien avec le noyau 2.6.20-15 et nvidia-glx.
Pense a bien tout désinstaller avant d'installer les paquets.

Je confirme, j'ai une GeForce2 MX qui tourne parfaitement bien avec le noyau 2.6.20-15-generic et le paquet nvidia-glx (9631).
A mon avis, il doit y avoir le souc dans ton installation, commences par faire le gros ménage de printemps avant de reinstaller quoi que ce soit !

Au fait, ta carte n'est pas supportée par les 9755 du paquet nvidia-glx-new et il ne sert à rien d'utiliser les .run du site nvidia pour feisty.

Je n'arrivais pas a booter sur les derniers kernels donc je ne pouvais pas utiliser nvidia-glx, et j'utilisais évidemment le dernier .run compatible avec ma carte big_smile

Enfin, en passant mes dépots en international, j'ai pu mettre a jour vers la dernière mise a jour du kernel -15, qui a enfin booté.

Donc résolu.
