BEryl --test-only

Bonjour à tous.....:D
Trouvant mon bureau un peu fade, je me dis pourquoi tester beryl maintenant que je viens de passer sous feslty...l'installation à l'air simple.
Mais voila ce que me donne beryl --test-only

big_smile J'avais légèrement oublié de mettre xorg.conf.....voila qui est fait. J'ai vu sur d'autres topics que la solution pourrais être de passer à une version antérieure de Beryl....N'y en a-t-il pas d'autres?

je suis passé a une version antérieure aucun changement dans la réponse de la commande beryl --test-only
De plus lorsque que j'éxucute malgré tout beryl-manager, il me répond :  Xlib:  extension "XFree86-DRI" missing on display ":0.0".
...
Un peu paumé quand même

Hot ca une carte ATI et une S3 ... vous avez pas choisi la facilité !!!
Pour le ATI , tu as bien désactivé le composite par hasard ?

K3g3rUn3kU si tu désactive le composite (dans xorg.conf je suppose), quand tu fais le beryl --test-only, il plante direct sur le premier truc... du coup comment savoir si après c'est bon ^^

Boul2neige --> As-tu installé XGL parce que tu ne peux pas utiliser AIGLX si tu utilises le driver proprio fglrx. Sinon fais une recherche avec ton modèle de carte graphique dans le forum tu devrais trouver des utilisateurs ayant posté leur xorg.conf ce qui devrait te permettre de perfectionner ton xorg.conf.

alors, j'ai utilisé le gestionnaires de pilotes proprio intégré a Feisty ... donc je ne sais pas vraiment ce qu'il m'a installé, je pense que normalement ca devrait être bon non ??
Mais ce qui me chagrine c'est qu'il me mette : "Xlib:  extension "XFree86-DRI" missing on display ":0.0"." quand je fais le beryl test, ca vient de quoi ca ??

Pour la s3 unichrome j'ai exactement le même problème que toi. Après recherche sur le forum anglophone et sur le site du driver unichrome il semble que ce dernier n'est plus vraiment entretenu: seul les fonctions de bases sont là et la 3D n'est pas assez développée pour gérer beryl/compiz sad

Il nous reste metisse mais je trouve assez moche

un autre truc qui me chagrine, c'est quand je vais dans Système->Préférences->Effets du bureau, que j'essaye d'activer les effets du bureau, il me renvoie un message d'erreur qui dit ceci : "Les effets du bureau ne peuvent être activés", et demerde toi avec ca ... donc d'ou vient le problème d'après vous ??
