Problème gnome mplayer depuis mise a niveau Lubuntu 13.04 -> 13.10

Bonjour!

depuis que je suis passé a Lubuntu 13.10, gnome mplayer ne fonctionne plus: j'ai le son mais pas d'image. et je ne peux pas le fermer (sauf en le tuant).

quelqu'un sait il d'ou ça vient?

Pour optimiser l'usage de ta ram (réduire les latences) regarde dans le post de ma signature le sujet swappiness.

j'ai fait la manœuvre indiquée sur le lien mais pas de changement, toujours le son, mais pas d'image. et les contrôles ne marchent pas...

j'ai essayé Smplayer, celui ça fonctionne mais saccade beaucoup, la ou gnome mplayer était ultra fluide...

Salut

A priori je t'aurai proposé de désinstaller mplayer :
sudo  apt-get  purge  "mplayer *"
sudo  apt-get  autoremove

De supprimer le répertoire mplayer :
rm  -r  .mplayer
de réinstaller mplayer :
sudo  apt-get  install  mplayer

puis de retester.

j'ai bien desinstallé grace a tes commandes, mais après avoir fait:

sudo  apt-get  install  mplayer

gnome mplayer n'a parait pas dans mes logiciels

drangon player je viens de la tester, il fonctionne très mal (une image toutes les demis secondes, ça fait peu pour voir un film!)

je regarde des film enregistré sur mon ordinateur.

je vien d'essayer xine, il saccade lui aussi.
encore une fois, j'étais satisfait de gnome mplayer car il était très fluide, léger, bon gestion des sous titres, image de bonne qualité... ce n'est pas juste une fixette!

sauf que la ça marche pas!

C'est parce que ça ne marche pas, qu'outre tenter de le régler, ca vaut le coup de regarder les alternatives . As tu réglé ta swappiness ?

Avant d'installer plein de player, il serait mieux de commencer par réparer mplayer.

Je supposes que tu as bien supprimé le répertoire .mplayer sinon tu le fait :
rm  -r  .mplayer
Puis tu fais :
sudo  apt-get  install gnome-mplayer

(...) gérer l'utilisation de la mémoire (tout le monde devrait le faire : les réglages par défaut sont plus logiques pour un serveur que pour un ordi personnel)

sudo gedit /etc/sysctl.conf

Là, on ajoute en bas :

vm.swappiness=5
vm.vfs_cache_pressure=50

Puis on ferme en enregistrant. (...)

Bon, ça ne fera pas de mal à ta mémoire.
Par contre ça ne résout pas. Mplayer semble avoir une faiblesse...
Peut être en tentant Smplayer qui sélectionne un build de Mplayer pour fonctionner ?

je l'ai testé, mais je suis pas très satisfait, comme les autres il sacade beaucoup, ce qui n'est pas agréable. cela dit, il a l'air pas mal, mais il fonctionne pas aussi bien que gnome mplayer fonctionnait!

Et si tu lances depuis un terminal :
mplayer  nom_de_fichier.avi    en indiquant un fichier existant ça donne quoi ?

ça marche mieux, mais j'ai du enlever l'espace entre Le et Boulet dans le nom du fichier.

il affiche l'image, mais en tout petit, et elle reste a cette taille même en plein écran.

sur la fenetre il y a marque Mplayer2, mais aucun controle (ce n'est pas l'interface de gnome mplayer)
sinon l'image est bien fluide, sauf qu'elle est petite.
en gros j'ai une petite image dans une fenetre vide sans controle, et aucune option
on tient le bon bout?

Qu'as-tu comme carte vidéo ?
sudo  lshw -C video

Ps j'ai modifié le post #22. Quand tu as des espaces dans le nom de fichier il faut mettre des quote " "

je viens d'essayer avec gnome-mplayer Vidéos/Leboulet.avi dans le terminal.

ça donne le même resultat que lorsque j'ouvre un fichier vidéo en mode graphique.

mais je peux te donner le rapport affiché dans le terminal, tu y vera peut etre plus clair:
