eh ben ça ne marche pas :(:(
j'ai installé alsa-driver / lib / utils dans cet ordre
un p'tit alsaconf et au démarrage toujours pas de son et plus de carte !

C'est rageant...
Selon la doc, les paquets libncurses5 libncurses5-dev gettext doivent être installés. Je n'ai pas fait attention, chez ils étaient déjà installés.
Tu as bien modifié le alsa-base ?

Si maintenant sur deux pc identiques ça marche sur l'un et pas sur l'autre on est dans le caca.

(bon je te dis ça par acquis de conscience, même si ce n'est probablement pas le problème : lorsque tu installe alsa, toutes les pistes sont sur mute. )

Salut elsoso, ca marche totalement ? Je veux dire, est-ce que le branchement d'un casque sur la prise casque coupe le son interne ? Est-ce que le micro fonctionne (interne et prise micro) ?

Chez moi quand on branche le casque tout va bien, le son se coupe sur les hauts parleurs.
Pour le micro je n'en ai pas sous la main donc je ne sais pas...

Je vois vraiment pas où pourrait être le problème, étant donné que j'ai bien la dernière version d'ALSA et que dans la manip on ne modifie pas tant de fichiers que ça...peut être un réglage caché ?

ne devrions-nous pas créer une page sur ce modèle dans la documentation afin de faire part du fonctionnement de cet ordi aux autres ou futur propriétaire de ce modèle ?

Toute les carte intel hda ( pciid-> 8086:284b ) sont affectée (ça fait énormément de matériel...)

Pour savoir si vous avez une carte de ce type:

 lspci -n | grep `lspci | grep -i audio | awk '{print $1}'`

La solution la plus simple.

-Activer les dépôt backport.
-installer les modules "backport":

sudo aptitude install linux-backports-modules-generic

et reboot. Ca devrait être bon. Sinon allez jeter un coup d'œil sur la page wiki cité plus haut.

Petit coup de gueule quand même:
Franchement c'est loin d'être user friendly les backport et le bug aurait put être corrigé vu le temps restant. Manque d'organisation, de voie rapide? Limite du système une version = 6mois?

Je n'ai modifié que ce fichier, si tu en veux un autre dis moi. Et méfiance, car j'utiliser mon pc en home-studio (donc j'ai le noyau temps réel d'installé, et ubuntustudio) peut-etre que ça a une incidence sur ce fichier... Ton pc est aussi un acer 7220 ? Et au fait le micro fonctionne aussi.

@elsoso : Compiz tourne niquel chez moi avec les drivers proprio, (Beryl doit fonctionner aussi, y'a pas de raisons) (mais j'ai dû modifer le xorg.conf pour avoir la bonne résolution) et pour le pavé numérique, il m'a suffit de l'enclencher une fois pour qu'il se déclenche automatiquement au démarrage. Par contre pour l'instant le wifi ne marche pas (en tout cas avec ndiswrapper) mais je n'ai pas trop cherché. Sinon j'ai toujours le même problème de boot, rien à faire ! D'accord pour ajouter quelque chose dans la doc, on voit ça ce week-end ? (je n'aurais plus accès à internet jusqu'à samedi)

@gagarine : Vu le nombre de sujets à propos des intel hda c'est une très bonne chose cette page ! Et effectivement, pour ce qui est du user-friendly, on repassera ! Enfin bon, les choses ne peuvent qu'évoluer... J'espère vraiment que alsa 1.0.15 sera bientôt dans les depôts vu le nombre de problèmes qu'il y'a.

Nan capidunord, j'ai la même chose que toi (j'essayerai de faire un copier coller pour être sûr), mais je pense pas que ca vienne de ce fichier.
Je ne sais pas pour le noyau d'ubuntu studio, peut être qu'il prend en charge plus de cartes...? Moi j'ai un Compal FL90 de chez Surcouf.

Mais vous avez vu le nombre de modèles de portables dans la page dédié au son intel hda ? C'est incroyable quand même, il n'y a pas une configuration unique pour laquelle ca marche pour tous les portables...
Je commence à regretter les cartes sb16...

Salut tout le monde

tout d'abord merci pour votre enthousiasme et votre reactivité.
g un portable HP récent, avec le meme genre de carte son et donc le meme pb "pas de son" au debut (par contre tout le reste a fonctionné cash dès l'install, et meme la télécommande !)

un pote m'a reinstallé alsa, les lib et les pilotes et maintenant le son fonctionne, excepté le casque...
apparement pour vous tous ça fonctionne normalement, moi je n'ai pas la partie "headphone" dans le alsamixer

je suis vraiment une quiche en ce qui concerne linux, je comprend certains trucs par deduction mais incapable de faire des trucs par moi meme... si qq'1 pouvait me guider pour cerner le pb ça le ferait bien

Ah je me sents moins seul !
Je suis sur Gutsy et 1 fois sur 5, au demarrage du pc, j'ai le son de boot de ubuntu.
Si je ne l'entends pas, je ne pourrais pas ecouter les sons des videos flash style youtube mais je peux quand meme ecouter mes mp3 de mon DD externe. Si je l'entends tout roule, mais c'est pas tout le temps le cas.
Ma carte est une C-Media CMI9880.

Les gens dans mon cas ont-ils trouvé une solution ?

Si c'est une installation à partir des sources et que le programme à des règles de désinstallation

make uninstall

Si ça ne marche pas, il faut aller lire la doc du programme en question...

Oki et donc tu confirmes bien qu'en faisant ça, le son des haut parleurs interne se coupe lors du branchement d'un casque ?
Dans ce cas, j'essayerai de tester ça ce week-end

Je sais pas exactement ce qu'a fait ton pote... donc mais disons que c'est l'un de problème que j'ai put voir dans le bug reporte.

Il est également possible que le module backport ne fonctionne pas totalement par contre il risque d'évoluer dans les prochaines semaine...

Dans le future, si tu veux compiler un programme fait le comme ceci (il te faut au préalable le programme chekinstall):

cd /chemin_vers_le_répertoire_des_sources
./configure
make
sudo checkinstall

Celà vas créer un package a partir des sources, permettant une désinstallation facilité par la ensuite (via synaptic, aptitude ou apt voir dpkg).
