c'est bon j'arrive a l'install effectivement, j'editerai ce post pour prevenir si ça fonctionne mais en toute logique ça devrait c'est une logitech et il me semble pas avoir lu de probleme particulié avec ces cameras.
je croise les doigts, encore merci en tout cas smile

niquel, ça fonctionne, ça freeze pas, tout roule parfaitement smile
j'hesitais encore a m'inscrire mais me voila pret pour le faire.
vous avez un nouveau programmeur (meme si je suis porté sur l'administration reseau et la programation reseau) a bord smile
je viens de finir mes etudes et je me prepare a passer la certif cisco donc si vous avez besoin hesitez pas je roderai dans le coin smile

Sortie de la version 2.00 !!! big_smile

J'ai modifier totalement le code d'EasyCam. EasyCam se décompose maintenant en trois paquets :

    * easycam2-core : Le noyau du logiciel, utilisable en ligne de commande
    * easycam2-gtk : Une interface graphique écrite en gtk ( Pour gnome et dérivé)
    * easycam2-qt : Une interface graphique écrite en qt (Pour kde et dérivé)

Et oui, une interface pour kde, plus besoin de salir votre système avec les librairies gnome.
Pour utiliser Easycam2, il faut donc maintenant installer :

    * Si vous utilisez Gnome : sudo apt-get install easycam2-gtk
    * Si vous utilisez Kde : sudo apt-get install easycam2-qt

Si quelqu'un peu tester le paquet easycam2-qt, j'ai pas pu le tester à fond. Merci !

J'ai mis à jour le driver sq930 qui ne fonctionnais pas sur les Kernels recent, en me basant notatement sur les travaux de Sam Revitch, le dev du driver R5U870. N'ayant pas de webcam pour le tester, je ne sait pas si mes modifications sont suffisantes. Cependant, il compile !
J'attend vos retours

si, maintenant le petit voyant vert s'allume... mais cheese, toujours les rectangles de couleurs, camorama et amsn ne détectent rien...

Je ne connais pas trop mais il me semble avoir un soucis avec v4l!! mais je ne sais pas a quoi cela correspond si tu as une idée merci d'avance...et pour info l'essai avec gstreamer propertie et v4l ou v2l n'a pas fonctionné..

sirius10 : Ta webcam semble fonctionner avec v4l, mais tu devais avoir un truc lancé quand tu à lancé gstremer-properties, qui utilise la webcam ? Car c'est ce que semble indiquer le message. En tout cas le driver microdia semble disponible pour v4l2, je regarde de plus près et je te tient au courant

Tentative d'installation et voilà la réponse :

J'ai relancé l'interface d'easy cam et reinstallé les drivers mais toujours des soucis avec cheese tandis qu'avec camorama pas de soucis j'ai mon image mise a part qu'elle est à l'envers

Si tu as ne idée pour cheese sinon tant pis et merci encore pour avoir fait marcher ma web cam apres 1 an d'attente smile:):)

Pour corriger l'image à l'envers :

sudo modprobe -r microdia (retire le driver)
sudo modprobe microdia vflip=0

Et c'est ok.

J'ai essayé les commandes mais l'image est toujours à l'envers avec camorama et le log ne présente pas d'option pour inverser l'image....bizarr!!!

Je débute sous ubuntu, donc je suis pas certain que j'ai bien fait tout ce qui fallait pour installer...

Je suis allé dans le terminal et j'ai noté :

sudo apt-get install easycam2-gtk

Mais là, il me dit alors :

E: Impossible de verrouiller /var/lib/dpkg/lock - open (11 Ressource temporairement non disponible)
E: Unable to lock the administration directory (/var/lib/dpkg/), is another process using it?

Qu'ai-je mal fait s'il vous plait ?

Bonjour,

Je possède un Asus M50 Sv avec webcam intégrée et j'ai installé Ubuntu Hardy. Jusqu'à ce que j'installe easycam 2 je n'avais pas réussi à utiliser ma webcam. Maintenant ça commence à fonctionner mais il y a encore des soucis. Si qq1 pouvais m'aider à les régler, ce serait sympa.

J'ai donc installé easy cam 2 comme indiqué en début de la discussion. Quand je lance Cheese j'ai la divine surprise de contempler mézigues sur l'écran, tout à l'air de bien fonctionner. Il est également possible de prendre des photos.

En revanche Cheese se bloque si j'essaie d'appliquer des effets ou d'enregistrer une vidéo. Ça ne fonctionne pas non plus avec camorama (could not connect to video device).

Quand je lance gstreamer-properties ça a l'air de fonctionner puisque la webcam se met en marche si je clique sur "test". Cependant il y a de drôles de messages qui s'affichent dans le terminal :

zut, flute la * Logitech QuickCam Web (Lego Webcam) (uses Linux quickcam Driver) n'est pas supportée je débute sous linux et (évidemment !) c'est celle-là que j'ai.
Vivement un paquet qui s'installe tout seul pour gérer les webcams ...

Elle devrai pourvoir fonctionner, meme si elle n'est pas autodétecté. D'apres l'indication, elle semble tourner avec quickcam. Je n'ai pas acces à mon pc, je ne peux donc pas mettre easycam  à jour pour ta webcam. Cepedant, tu peux faire ceci :

* Installe le paquet easycam2-core
* Puis lance la commande : gksudo 'python /usr/share/EasyCam2/core.py -i quickcam'

Et normalement tout roule. Dis moi si tu as un message d'erreur

RECHERCHE DE WEBCAM DIRECTEMENT COMPATIBLE LINUX ET AMSN
Bonjour à tous.
Après avoir fait appel à un "bon" en informatique ET APRÈS UNE NUIT DE VAINS EFFORTS, je renonce à installer ma logitech quick cam pro 5000.
Je suis allé sur le site : http://linux-uvc.berlios.de/#footnote-1
pour trouver une webcam directement compatible linux.
Sur ce site il y a des cam cochées en vert.
Quelqu'un peut-il me dire si toutes ces cams sont directement installables et (mieux) me donner une référence de cam assez performante et très compatible.

Tu a tester mon logiciel ? Il permet d'installer ta webcam normalement. Si tu as le moindre soucis, on peut voir sa ensemble sans soucis pour que mon logiciel puisse installer ta webcam.

Autrement cette webcam est bien : http://fr.europe.creative.com/products/product.asp?category=218&subcategory=219&product=15311 et fonctionne 'directement' sous ubuntu à l'aide de mon logiciel (J'ai eu un retour d'un utilisateur qui m'a pas eu de soucis)
Autrement regarde du coté de cette liste de webcam.

Les webcams notée compatible fonctionne très bien sous ubuntu, soit directement, soit apres utilisation de mon logiciel, Easycam.
