Pour enrengister ta webcam :


sudo apt-get install mencoder

mencoder tv:// -tv driver=v4l:width=320:height=240:device=/dev/video0 -ovc lavc -o webcam.avi

Et si tu veux tester le son :

Donne moi le résultat de la commande : ls /dev/dsp

Salut Anbreizh,

webcam  Creative  Live! Cam Video IM Pro) installé avec Easycam2:
Image OK avec cheese et amsn (avatar), mais message d'erreur avec camorama (et d'autres..., en fait tous les autres)
"Could not connect to video device (/dev/video0). Please check connection"

Mon message est le #2267 p91. (avec les infos  de dmesg et lsusb -v
Merci si tu entrevois la raison du pb

C'est un bug dans camorama (Réponse des dev de chesse). Si ta webcam fonctionne avec cheese et gstreamer-properties, alors c'est un bug de camorama ...

Ce que je trouve curieux, c'est que j'ai le même pb avec "wengophone" avec lequel je ne peux pas avoir non plus d'image. Et bien sûr, c'est avec ce programme que ça m'interesse .......
Je vais continuer à chercher ....

depuis quelques jours j'essaye d'installer une webcam creative, mais sans succès.......niveau ubuntu limité.

Je suis sous Hardy heron version 64 bits, j'ai ajouté les dépots suivants dans les sources de logicielles :deb http://blognux.free.fr/ubuntu hardy main

Comme indiqué sur la page http://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/easycam

Et ensuite si j'essaie de recharger dans Synaptic j'obtiens l'erreur suivante :
Impossible de récupérer http://blognux.free.fr/ubuntu/dists/hardy/main/binary-amd64/Packages.gz 404 Not Found Le téléchargement de quelques fichiers d'index a échoué, ils ont été ignorés, ou les anciens ont été utilisés à la place.

Donc je ne peux pas installer le paquet easycam...

Bon, voilà mon problème :

- ma caméra est une caméra intégrée dans mon ordinateur portable
- ma caméra est dans la liste des caméras supportés (0c45:627f Microdia)
- l'installation du driver via easycam se passe bien

mais :

- lorsque je lance un logiciel pour tester la caméra (cheese, camorama), je n'ai aucune image
- camorama me dit qu'il ne peut se connecter à /dev/video0
- je ne suis pas bête alors j'ai regardé dans mon /dev : je n'ai pas de /dev/video0 ou un quelconque video[qqch]

conclusion : help ! :'(

euh étant donné que c'est une webcam intégrée, l'activer ou la désactiver me semble impossible, cependant elle est présente lors d'un lsusb, je pense donc qu'elle est activée dans le sens ou tu l'entends ?
