J'ai installe boot-repair mais je le trouve pas pour le lancer. Ok vu c est "réparateur de démarrage"

Donc, si j'ai bien tout compris, maintenant :
* je remets ma clé Lili
* sous Xubuntu, je trouve MYLINUXLIVE sur mon DD, j'efface tout
* je supprime;la partition sd4 avec Gparted
* je redémarre sous Windows pour vérifier que tout est ok
:-)
Vous me confirmez mes chéris ?

Pas de précipitation.
Tu ne fais plus de réparation mais à l'aide de boot-repair, tu vas nous poster l'url vers un rapport boot-info.

Je suis en déplacement  pro en Guyane,  je n'ai pas apporté  mon ordi perso, et comme j'aime bien Qarte, une petite clé  et hop ! :-)
Le point crucial oú j'ai merdé (comme on dit chez VW), c'est  qu'il faut être absolument  sûr  de la clé  qu'on choisi quand on fait une clé  live avec Lili : j'ai fait par erreur une " clé  live" sur mon DD (il devait y avoir une petite partition d'environ  2Go que j'ai prise pour ma clé ).

Ben déjà on ne connait pas l'état initial des partitions donc il y aura toujours des traces.
Ce que je propose est de supprimer la partition sda4 et c'est tout.
Enfin, c'est comme ça que je vois les choses.

Je n'ai pas les idées claires à cette heure (1h30 en métropole).
Un rapport boot-info ne se décortique pas en 30 secondes, je risquerais de dire des bêtises.
Je serai en mesure de donner un avis quand j'aurai dormi et serai bien réveillé.
Mais bon, si Ignace l'a épluché... ça va !
Et puis, dès lors que ton win fonctionne normalement, je ne vois pas pourquoi ton admin irait s'enquérir demain de ton partitionnement !

Juste un truc : Si sda4 est supprimé, il faudra activer le drapeau de boot d'une autre partition du disque, comme par exemple sda1,
car plus aucune partition avec le drapeau de boot actif sur le disque, à mon avis, windows va pas aimer ça.

EDIT : À moins que la réinstallation du MBR par boot-repair n'ait aussi positionné le flag boot de sda1…

Oups ! Ça c'est signé linux, quand bien même tu supprimerais sda4.

Comme j'ignore comment fonctionne syslinux, j'ignore si ton ordi démarrera si tu supprimes sda4.
Qu'en penses-tu, ignace ?

boot-repair est en mesure de remettre un MBR générique windows en début de sda, bien sûr.
EDIT 1  : déjà fait. FIN d'édit.

Mais tu sais - ou pas - que, entre la fin du 1er secteur et le début de sda1, certains logiciels proprios inscrivent un code d'authentification et certaines versions d'essai inscrivent la date d'installation.
Donc j'estime que tu dois d'abord vérifier si tes logiciels professionnels fonctionnent tous, sans te demander d'authentification inhabituelle.

Ensuite... je ne suis pas chaud pour te conseiller quelque manip' que ce soit, après une confusion entre sda et une clef usb.

Mais puisque ça marche, pourquoi ne pas dire tout simplement la vérité à ton admin, entre la poire et le fromage ? Lui demander conseil ? Il ne va pas te manger, si ?


EDIT 2 : quand je disais qu'il fallait les idées claires... big_smile
boot-repair a déjà remplacé syslinux par un mbr windows générique et rétabli le drapeau boot sur une partition win, donc ce boot-info est périmé...

Ben le MBR syslinux n'est pas dans sda4 et indique bien que la partition de démarrage est sda1 donc je ne vois pas de contre-indication à supprimer sda4.
Mais ce que je propose, est de s'arrêter à supprimer sda4 pour éviter toutes erreurs supplémentaire.
Il est évident que l'option de tout avouer à un admin est une bonne solution aussi car lui saura remettre le PC en état d'origine sans rien casser.
Je dis ça car il y a un risque que tu casses encore un truc en faisant une manipulation supplémentaire.
Tu as déjà fait une erreur une fois, tu peux en refaire une.
