Sortie de la nouvelle version de Mate aujourd'hui : Mate 1.14
L'équipe de dev de l'environnement de bureau "Mate" vient de publier aujourd'hui la nouvelle version : 1.14 qui fait suite a la 1.12.
Beaucoup de nouveauté (cf ci-dessous). A noté que si vous utilisez "Ubuntu Mate 16.04", évidemment vous resterez en version 1.12 (Ubuntu ce n'est pas Arch) puisque cela fait déjà plusieurs semaines que les versions sont gelés sur la 16.04 (et de toute façon la 1.12 est déjà une nouvelle version pour Ubuntu car la 15.10 avait la version encore d'avant, la 1.10) par contre pour ceux qui utiliseront la 16.10 (qui ne sera pas LTS je rappelle), là vous aurez certainement la 1.14. En revanche, la nouvelle version de Mint basé sur la 16.04 (Mint 18) pour ce qui est la "mate édition" aura bien la 1.14.

Pour ceux qui veulent avoir la 1.14 :
Sur une base Ubuntu : ajouter le dépot backport "sarah" de Mint puis faite un update suivi d'un upgrade et vous serez alors en 1.14
(naturellement, il est préférable de partir directement de la variante "ubuntu mate" ou "mint mate édition").
Sur une base Debian : ajouter le dépot backport "betsy" de lmde puis faite un update suivi d'un upgrade.
(a noté que si vous êtes sous Lmde, vous êtes déjà en 1.14).
