Si tu essaye un autre navigateur c'est pareil ?
Si oui, je pense que soit il faudra que tu rajoutes des barrettes de RAM dans ton PC, soit que tu révises tes habitudes de navigation (moins d'onglet ouvert en même temps par exemple).

3.6 Go de Ram bouffé + 1.5 Go de Swap ( qui ralentit le système il me semble ) ce n'est absolument pas normal.
Même en multipliant les onglets ouverts avec Firefox ou Chromium je n'ai jamais atteint un chiffre pareil...

Oui ! Firefox freeze même quelques secondes au démarrage et Midori fait la même chose.

Pourtant je ne suis pas sûr que ce soit un problème de navigation internet uniquement car lorsque je lance le traitement de texte il met
un peu de temps je trouve aussi et a tendance à geler parfois.

...la fonctionnalité gpu vga du cpu a bien sur ete completement desactivée ! ce qui correspond au fait que linux ait activé l'amd graphics ...
il n'y a pas de pont amd-gpu --- cpu ,
le bus cpu etant reduit à 100mhz,
le gpu amd etant lui-meme sur un port pci interne à 33mhz
la communication cpu--gpu se fait donc à la vitesse du bus systeme == 33mhz !!!
→ il est donc tout à fait normal que ton ordi aussi puissant soit-il sur le papier, ne soit en pratique pas plus puissant qu'un p3 1ghz ... (meme pas digne d'un p4 de 4ieme generation , c'est dire que foxconn s'est foutu de ta gueule via son contrat d'avec hp)
la suggestion de mettre lubuntu voire meme openbox est tout à fait justifié au regard de ces "manigances" ...

Ce qui me chipote, c'est la ram en bank 1 et rien en bank 0. Je ne sais pas sur les pc récents, mais avant cela avait de l'importance...

Non cela ne pose pas vraiment de problème.
La plupart des PC portables se contentent d'une seule barrette de Ram, avec le second emplacement libre.
Certes le dual channel est préférable mais ce n'est pas cela qui va transfigurer la machine.
Je viens de vérifier via CPU Z sur Windows et je suis bien en dual channel depuis que j'ai installé une 2 ème barrette de mémoire dans mon Toshiba.
On utilise quelle commande pour faire la même vérification sous Ubuntu ?
