Il est possible que le paquet créé soit déjà installé : voici ce qui est écrit dans la doc de checkinstall

Vous trouverez à la fin de la procédure un paquet deb dans le dossier de vos sources qui sera directement installé.

Est-ce que tu peux copier l'ensemble des résultats depuis que tu as commencé la procédure de #240 ? Il y a peut-être une configuration qui a foiré et que tu n'as pas forcément vue dans tout le défilé de lignes.

Oui, mais dans ce cas, où se trouve le .deb ?

Debmutant, essaie de voir dans Synaptic si xf86-... se trouve dans ta liste de paquets.

Ça plante, ma version de LinuxMint est trop récente et il manque des dépendances anciennes sad

Tu as le même message, il manque GBM, qui est apparemment lié à Mesa, si j'ai bien compris. Sauf qu'il s'agit d'un truc ancien, remplacé depuis par EGL...

edit : tu fais cd et tu retournes à ton /home smile mais là, les fichiers sont dans xf86... donc restes-y wink

Tous les fichiers se trouvent dans le répertoire xf86-video-ati
Par rapport à la racine, tous les fichiers sont dans /home/asus/xf86-video-ati, qui peut également s'écrire ~/xf86-video-ati

Tu peux faire la commande

pwd

qui te donnera le chemin complet

Voici ce que j'ai trouvé dans la doc (c'est au sujet de wayland, qui normalement ne nous concerne pas ici) :

Les pilotes de cartes graphiques implémentent pour la plupart une API (interface de programmation) nommée GBM (Generic Buffer Management), à l'exception des pilotes propriétaires nVidia qui implémentent dans leur coin EGLStreams, EGLStreams n'étant pas supportée par tous les compositeurs existants (Sway et Mutter semblent être les seuls au moment de la rédaction de cet article).

Je vais sans doute dire une connerie, mais... installer la 18.04 n'est pas possible sur ton PC ? Ou du moins l'essayer en liveCD/USB ?

On bloque sur ce p. de driver...

J'ai eu quelque chose de similaire chez moi, sur une carte nVidia, sauf que je n'étais pas bloqué comme toi, seule la résolution était mauvaise, et j'avais nouveau qui était proposé. Le sélectionner a résolu le problème. Et le problème venait du fait que nVidia avait pris la décision de ne plus mettre à jour le driver 304, et lors d'une mise à jour, ça a commencé à ne plus bien fonctionner.

Tu as une carte radeon, donc on oublie nouveau et nous n'arrivons pas à trouver un driver à jour...

Tu peux essayer une 18.04, mais je crains qu'on ne retombe sur le même problème.
