[Résolu] Bip carte mère au démarrage

Bonjour, J'ai un petit soucis au démarrage d'Ubuntu. Comme indiqué dans la titre la carte mère bip au démarrage, j'avoue que je sèche un peu habituellement j'arrive à me dépatouiller (surtout dans ce forum) mais là...

Mon installation :
Ubuntu 18.04 sur SSD
Grub pour l'amorçage
Windows 10 installé sur un autre SSD

Symptôme et déroulement :
Affichage de l'amorçage avec les options de démarrage avancé d'Ubuntu + Windows 10
Je lance sur Ubuntu, écran noir pendant quelques secondes puis bip carte mère, chargement du l'écran de démarrage puis mon bureau.

Je n'ai pas de problème sur l'installation, tout fonctionne mais je n'avais pas ce bip avant et le démarrage était bien plus rapide.

Ce que j'ai fais :
J'ai changé la valeur de

GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash"

en

GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT=""

puis

sudo update-grub

Maintenant au démarrage j'ai bien toutes les lignes de chargement. Pendant la phase de démarrage il bloque quelques secondes (jamais sur la même ligne...) puis j'ai ce bip et le démarrage reprend son cours. Par contre ça défile tellement vite que je n'ai pas le temps de voir ce qu'il se passe vraiment, je n'ai pas trouvé non plus comment lire le log afin d'affiner ma recherche une fois le pc démarré.

Quels sont les bonnes pratiques pour diagnostiquer le démarrage ? par où commencer ?

Bonjour.
Si tu entends  des bips, penses au morse . Ecoutes bien l'alternance et le nombre de coups brefs et longs puis retrouves la référence de ta carte mère et vas sur internet pour avoir la table de correspondance.

Je connais l'astuce, mais je précise que le pc n'a aucun problème ensuite.

J'ai pas précisé non plus avant Grub :

  • 1 bip court (bonton alimentation)

  • logo Bios

  • Menu Grub -> Sélection Ubuntu

  • Chargement Ubuntu -> affichage du chargement (suppression du quiet splash)

  • blocage sur une ligne

  • 1 bip court

  • poursuite du chargement

  • ouverture du bureau Ubuntu

Le bip au chargement du bios à toujours été là, mais pas celui pendant le blocage au chargement. J'y avais pensé mais pour ma carte mère 1 bip court = tout va bien (mais au chargement du bios) l'autre je ne sais pas à quoi il correspond et il intervient dans le processus de chargement de l'os.
En gros j'ai perdu 15 secondes en vitesse de démarrage (ce qui n'est pas énorme) mais simplement j'aimerai pouvoir diagnostiquer et connaître la marche à suivre, en gros les bonnes pratiques de dépannage.

Je vois la piste de l'ordre des disques de  boot

Il faut qu'en premier tu ais SDB     car

=> Grub2 (v2.00) is installed in the MBR of /dev/sdb and looks at sector 1 of 
    the same hard drive for core.img. core.img is at this location and looks 
    for (,msdos1)/boot/grub. It also embeds following components:
    ....

On voit aussi que ta modification est bien prise en compte afin de faire de l'affichage écran pendant le boot.

Je ne pense pas que la cause soit ta modification. Mais tu peux faire un contre exemple.
Modifies le fichier /boot/grub/grub.cfg
la ligne à modifier est

  linux	/boot/vmlinuz-4.15.0-34-generic root=UUID=ed2479cb-4765-42c1-b6e7-a98f41709398 ro  

elle doit devenir

  linux	/boot/vmlinuz-4.15.0-34-generic root=UUID=ed2479cb-4765-42c1-b6e7-a98f41709398 ro  quiet splash

tu sauras alors si le problème disparaît ou reste.

J'ai fais la manip, cela à restauré le splash screen d'ubuntu au chargement mais le bip est toujours là.
Pour ce qui est des disques tu veux dire d'aller les brancher physiquement sur la carte mère, changer les ports de mes 2 SSD ? (SSD unbuntu sur le port N°1 et SSD Windows sur le port N°2)
Je continue de chercher je sais pas si ce bip est apparue après avoir bidouiller le Shell de Gnome.

Non  tu n'es pas obligé de faire la manipulation physique
Tu accèdes au bios logiquement  (touche echap?   F2?) SUPPR ? )au démarrage et tu dois rechercher un écran qui évoque l'ordre de boot   USB    CRDOM DISQUE et pour les disques , une hiérarchie   SDA SDB SDC SDD....  que tu ordonnes pour mettre en premier SDB ou vérifier que c'est bien SDB.

Tu peux donc remettre la ligne comme avant. On sait maintenant qu'elle n'est pas en cause.

J'ai désactivé les extension de Gnome au cas où mais rien ne fais. Ok pour les disques prochaine étape alors.
J'ai de nouveau retiré quiet splash et j'ai remarqué que le système bloque le plus souvent sur cette ligne

Le bip (ou une autre musique) peut aussi être généré par grub, regarde si l'option n'st pas activée dans /etc/default/grub

Alors là pas mal, j'ai trouvé dans dmesg ces 2 lignes :

Entre la 11 seconde et la 36 ème (si j'ai bien compris) le processus essai de monter ma carte vidéo se retrouve dans une boucle pour le processeur pendant 22s (et donc pas 15 comme annoncé) puis le watchdog le gicle.

Ma Carte est un GTX 1060 6Go c'est vrai que j'ai tenté d'installer un pilote mais est-ce le bon ?

Je vais m'investir à recherche de ce côté là.

Tu as deux cartes graphiques. Là, on dirait que la nvidia est totalement désactivée, puisqu'on ne voit pas de ligne "Kernel modules" ni "Kernel driver" sous ta nvidia ; montre

lsmod | grep nvidia

  - -

Il sera utile que tu réessayes les commandes

lsmod | grep nvidia ; echo ; lspci -vnn | grep -A12 '\''[030[02]\]' | grep -Ei "vga|3d|display|kernel"

après avoir remplacé nomodeset par modprobe.blacklist=nouveau
(comme suggéré dans ton lien) suivi de

sudo update-grub

et d'un redémarrage. Pour voir si la prise en charge est meilleure ou non. (N'hésite pas à solliciter ta carte graphique big_smile ).

par contre de nouveau le bip carte mère et la latence au démarrage.
Donc si je comprends bien pour le moment Kernel modules:i915 est le pilote vga chargé par le noyau au démarrage ce qui correspond au chipset graphique du processeur..., ro le vilain.
J'ai installé au début NVIDIA X Server Settings qui reconnaît bien la CG.
En regardant le wiki de Ubuntu depuis l'interface graphique il conseil d'utiliser "Logiciels & mises à jour" : là dans Pilotes additionnels j'ai

NVIDIA Corporation : GP106[Gefroce GTX 1060 6GB]
Ce périphérique utilise un pilote alternatif.

Dans la liste des pilote je suis effectivement sur un pilote libre (celui que j'ai installé) nvidia-driver-396(libre)
et dessous j'ai serveur X X.org-pilote d'affichage nouveau depuis les dépots xserver-xorg-nouveau(libre)
je vais tenter de switcher et reboot pour voir je vous tiens au courant.

J'ai tout planté lol, du coup j'ai démarré en recovery puis dans un terminal j'ai fais :

mount -o rw,remount /

puis

apt-get remove xserver-xorg-video-intel

j'avais le pilote propriétaire de téléchargé d'avance sur le site de NVIDIA et j'ai lancer l'installation depuis le terminal

chmod +x NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-390.87.run
./NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-390.87.run

J'ai reboot, pas de bip carte mère j'ai réparé ma bétise et :

J'avoue que je suis aller un peu vite lol (le car scolaire des enfants arrivé) du coup entre midi et deux heures je vais m'y pencher plus sérieusement. 
Je vais changer de nouveau par nomodeset en rebootant j'ai eu de nouveau le bip (le premier reboot effectué depuis le terminal en recovery).
Sinon, je me rappel avoir fais un benchmark de la carte qui donne un bon résultat. Ma question est-il possible que le pilote soit tout de même chargé et fonctionnel, même si la commande montre que le pilote chargé est celui du chipset graphique ?
Je suis un peu perdu là.
EDIT : comment être sur que la carte soit fonctionnelle ? à part lancer un jeux sur Steam par exemple et vérifier que ça tourne bien.
