Ok pour tenter cette manœuvre, au point où j'en suis...
Mais cette partie je la traite comment ?
B) Le montage de la partition système à cibler se fera en frappant la commande
mount /dev/sda2 /mnt
Et ici ?
Il ne faut pas écrire
sudo mount </dev/partition> /sda2/system
mais il faut remplacer </dev/partition> par ce que la documentation indique
par exemple, si sda2 est la partition racine, la commande sera : "sudo mount /dev/sda2 /media/system"
Dans ton cas la commande est donc celle de l'exemple et aussi celle que j'ai proposé.

Je vais te redonner la totalité de ce que je souhaite que tu fasses.
je vais tenter de te projeter dans le ubuntu installé à partir de ton support d'installation.
On ne risque rien à essayer. Cela s'appelle "CHROOT" c'est expliqué ICI => https://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/chroot
A) Les commandes de préparation sont
setxkbmap fr
sudo -i
B) Le montage de la partition système à cibler se fera en frappant la commande
mount /dev/sda2 /mnt
C) Le montage des répertoires se fera avec ces commandes (copier/coller).
mount -t proc /proc /mnt/proc
mount -t sysfs /sys /mnt/sys
mount --bind /dev /mnt/dev
mount --bind /run /mnt/run
mount --bind /sys /mnt/sys
mount --bind /etc/resolv.conf /mnt/etc/resolv.conf
modprobe efivars
D) Le changement d'environnement se fera avec cette commande
chroot /mnt
E) Quelques contrôles seront à faire par exemple
mount -t devpts devpts /dev/pts
ping -c4 google.fr
ls -ls /home
F) On fait la réparation de DPKG.

G) On vérifie ce que cela donne

Pardon Geole mais il me semble que pour cette partie B il a une contradiction ou c'est moi qui divague...
Ça :
mount /dev/sda2 /mnt
Ou ça :
par exemple, si sda2 est la partition racine, la commande sera : "sudo mount /dev/sda2 /media/system"
Dans ton cas la commande est donc celle de l'exemple et aussi celle que j'ai proposé..

La documentation dit
par exemple, si sda2 est la partition racine, la commande sera : "sudo mount /dev/sda2 /media/system"
En fait elle est incorrecte. Dans sa formulation elle dit
sudo mkdir /media/system
sudo mount </dev/partition> /media/system
En étant puriste, elle devrait dire
sudo mkdir <MountPoint>
sudo mount </dev/partition> <MountPoint>
Le Point de montage peut être absolument n'importe quoi.
Je privilégie /mnt qui est plus rapide à écrire (qui existe déja!) que /media/system ou que /home/ubuntu/"Point de montage pour réaliser un chroot"

Pourrais-tu me donner quelques infos pour que je puisse ré-installer ubuntu 16-04-6 LTS amd64 qui ce trouve sur ma clef USB, proprement sur mon DD à fin d'éliminer tous "résidus" ?
Ou bien, aurais-tu autre chose à me proposer ?

Deux choix possibles
A)Si tu n'as pas sauvegardé tes données personnelles, c'est le moment de le faire.
Tu pourras alors réinstaller facilement ubuntu sur tout le disque.
je pense qu'il devrait te proposer soit l'option "sur tout le disque" soit l'option "la place de la version 16.04".
B) Tu lances d'abord GPARTED et tu rétrécis d'environ 30 Go la partition SDA2.

Puis tu réinstalles ubuntu en prenant l'option "à coté de ubuntu 16.04". Par la suite, on mettra un lien pour pointer sur tes données .

Je vais certainement opter pour la solution A
Mais lorsque je lance GParted voici le message qu’apparaît avant l'ouverture du programme...
Le descripteur de pilote indique que la taille du bloc physique est de 2 048 octets, mais que Linux indique 512 octets.
Avez-vous idée sur cette alerte et aura t-elle des répercutions sur la ré-installation d'ubuntu que je compte réaliser ?

Ce n'est pas un problème. Cela s'adresse certainement au lecteur de CD-ROM qui lit et écrit réellement des paquets de 2048 et pas 512
