One or more modprobe configuration files to disable Nouveau have been
written. For some distributions, this may be sufficient to disable Nouveau;
other distributions may require modification of the initial ramdisk. Please
reboot your system and attempt NVIDIA driver installation again. Note if
you later wish to reenable Nouveau, you will need to delete these files:
/etc/modprobe.d/nvidia-installer-disable-nouveau.conf

J'ai un affichage en 1024*768 que je ne peux pas changer en mode graphique.
Le pilote utilisé est toujours le X.

Que tu devras te contenter de la situation actuelle avec le pilote nouveau.
Il n’y a que le pilote nvidia-390 valable pour ta carte mais ça ne fonctionne pas.
À moins qu’il s’agisse d’un problème avec secure-boot.

Bon, le secure-boot est déjà désactivé.

Merci quand même.
Ce qui est étonnant c'est que cette carte est notée comme fonctionnant parfaitement avec le driver proprio et ubuntu 12.04 (https://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/liste_carte_graphique).
[edit : par contre c'est testé avec du 32bit. Est-ce que le fait que je sois en 64 bits peut jouer ?]
Frustrant !!!!! ...

C’est à tenter en effet.
Dans ton cas, c’est le pilote 440 qui sera proposé sur le site de nvidia.
Comme tu l’as déjà téléchargé (il se trouve dans ton répertoire Téléchargements) et rendu exécutable, tu peux commencer à l’étape 4.
En revanche, je ne sais pas trop si c’est réversible si jamais ça ne marche pas.

De retour après 27 réinstallations ... (j'exagère un peu)
La méthode évoquée (#48) n'a pas marché.
J'ai installé ubuntu 19.10 pour voir. J'ai exactement les mêmes problèmes.
Voici les résultats de glxgears :
414 frames in 5.0 seconds = 82.566 FPS
301 frames in 5.0 seconds = 60.002 FPS
300 frames in 5.0 seconds = 60.000 FPS
301 frames in 5.0 seconds = 60.000 FPS
301 frames in 5.0 seconds = 60.001 FPS
301 frames in 5.0 seconds = 60.001 FPS
301 frames in 5.0 seconds = 60.000 FPS
300 frames in 5.0 seconds = 59.999 FPS
Est-ce que c'est vraiment mauvais ?
Parce-que bon, j'ai lu que c'était mieux avec les drivers proprios, j'ai quelques lenteurs sur certains trucs ; mais si de toute façon je ne peux pas prétendre à mieux avec ce matos je vais utilisr mon temps à autre chose !
