Tu devrais faire booter ton PC depuis un media externe, comme par exemple une clé USB avec un Ubuntu.
Ensuite depuis la session live en USB regarde l'état de santé de ton disque dur.
Tu peux le faire avec l'outil graphique intégré "Disques" ou en ligne de commande avec smartmontools

Bonjour Mobilis,

Le problème c'est que je ne peux plus booter sur ma clef USB Ubuntu... Dans mon affolement d'hier soir, j'ai voulu réinstaller Ubuntu avec ma clef mais j'ai dû commettre quelles énormes bêtises et, à présent, si j'essaie, j'ai le message "Invalid partition". D'ailleurs, sur l'image n°1, on voit que ce choix n'est plus proposé !

Il me semble que tu as un autre ordinateur qui va te permettre de refabriquer une clé d'installation ubuntu que tu pourras utiliser en live USB pour faire non pas un boot-info mais un smartctl.

Effectivement, geole, je me sers d'un vieux petit Asus qui m'aide bien dans ce genre de circonstance...
En ce qui concerne le fait de faire une nouvelle clé d'installation, je suis embêtée car, cette fois, j'avais fait le choix d'acheter une clef sur votre site. Est-ce que cela veut dire que j'ai "foiré" le contenu de cette clef ?

C'est toi qui dit que tu as écrasé la clé. Mais peut-être ne sais-tu plus booter avec.   Regarde si elle boote avec ton autre ordinateur.

Ton ordinateur en panne est-il bien un  dell Latitude E5530?   Il semble que cette série n'a pas problème pour booter.

Là, je suis en train de créer une nouvelle clef :
- j'ai téléchargé l'ISO et est-ce que je dois enregistrer cette image sur ma nouvelle clef ? Je ne m'en souviens plus...

Il faut d'abord télécharger l'application ventoy et initialiser la clé avant d'y déposer l'SO.

Bonsoir,

la fenêtre que j'obtiens en faisant F12 au démarrage ne propose pas le choix USB ?

Quelquefois, ces clés apparaîssent dans un sous-menu de la section «Hard Disks» ...
Éplucher tout le contenu du menu de démarrage F12 pour voir si la clé ne s'y cache pas quelque part ?

Chez-moi, sur une vieille machime de 2009, ces clés sont détectées comme étant des disques durs dans ce menu de boot ...

Que veut-tu faire avec une iso téléchargée?
Un nombre très important d'ordinateurs n'a pas prévu qu'une clé USB est un DVD. Ils veulent une vraie partition de boot en FATnn
Comment as-tu fait la première fois?
